But shh, spoilers, that's between myself, Josh and one other for now. I must admit that despite people feeling it was the inevitable outcome in the solo female category at the time Jessie ended up being eliminated I was still slightly surprised that she didn't make it further. After making it to Live Shows in Season 2 with HAIM, it's a shame Josh was out so early here because I think there's a lot of picks for Jessie that could have done really well, and as we saw with HAIM, Josh definitely seems to have mastered smart song choices that please both factions of the voting BuzzJack public.and...was mentored by...@Rob Zombie Rob landed on his feet as the only newcomer to the competition securing a spot in the solo female category with the wonderful Dido. Whether we can say it was detrimental to have played White Flag in the first round and not saving it for later, who knows? But what it did do was secure Dido a massive early win in a very stacked category and allowed Rob to continue sharing some beautiful songs by Dido up to her untimely elimination at Boot Camp. And despite comments - to a lesser extent than We Found Love - about Stan not being in the spirit of the competition, at least Rob gave it his best shot at returning to the competition and went out on a high. Hope to see you again in Season 4!
2 hours ago2 hr Josh got Jessie!!! (And I did consider Haim last year but felt I couldn’t do them justice!) Hot N Heavy was robbed

It was obvious from that first song choice Harry intended on playing the long game with Tove and reserving as many of the big hits as he could for later in the competition, however it wasn't meant to be when ultimately people didn't approve of the song choice; particularly when some of the other solo female artists went with such big hitters from the word go. Would be interested to know how Harry would have played the other rounds had Tove survived but at least we've also been treated to Talking Body here, proof that she very well could have been a big threat.

Oops x Should've been I'm Not Alone! Let’s be real, everyone benefits from Calvin not making it lol. Tactical votes seem to have worked, as some of us already acknowledged!!!
2 hours ago2 hr Aww both acts good. Jessie has some great tracks and a few were played, while poor Rob sent his album track round a week early and would have flown otherwise with the great Dido I’m sure. Well played both though. Stan is incredible of course.
2 hours ago2 hr Poor Tove Lo In the end I was slightly relieved not to get Jessie Ware as the females round was soooo brutal
2 hours ago2 hr Tove did well to beat Stan! But Talking Body is great of course, I felt so bad for their mentor after round one. Nicely done in this round Harry.

Alas, it wasn't meant to be and Jonjo played a brilliant game with Leona despite her meeting her demise at The Six Chair Challenge with Footprints in the Sand (forever and always a gorgeous song). Although he didn't quite make it as far as he did in Season 2 with Troye Sivan, and it being earlier in the competition than the Battles previously were, Jonjo at least matches what he managed to do with Enrique Iglesias in Season 1 surviving up to the cull. Intrigued to know what some of the other choices for Leona would have been.
2 hours ago2 hr Oh wow Leona not making itAlso @Tafty well done on your choice. She was my first choice so not jealous at all 🤣❤️
2 hours ago2 hr Ooh ok, Tafty not Sam Fender haha.Leona deserved better, I will forever love her. Well done doing quite well with her overall. Bleeding Love is an epic.
2 hours ago2 hr Wow, people really were marking down, I thought Stan would be top 4 at the least!I would've loved to see Habits here for Tove rather than Talking Body, but it was extremely competitive so probably hard to judge.

First, I don't think anybody at any point has put Scene's name to being behind Agnes when making predictions publicly? So kudos to you for being able to hide behind other names that may have seemed more obviously you. And second, how very cruel for Agnes to be eliminated from the competition with Here Comes the Night and Release Me, because my god they are both incredible songs! Just very bad luck. However, with you eliminated it does increase the odds of us having a brand new winner of The Pop Factor for Season 3 haha. But Scene, you played the game brilliantly as always and made smart decisions about what to play and when. I promise you, you can win with a twink in Season 4, it's possible, I'll make sure of it x
