Originally released in June as part of Olivia’s chart-topping album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, the Californian star recruited Chappell to give expectations its standout moment. This also marks the first taste of new music from Chappell in 2026. Can her comeback with Olivia yield a chart-topping single? Well, it’s not certain! Jamie Miller’s Babydoll is right on its tail, also looking to hit the summit for the first time (2). As is Canadian Tate McRae, finding her latest single Housewife currently situated at Number 3. We are in for a three-horse race, but who comes out on top? Following the release of their stunning new project Dopamine Chamber, Fontaines D.C. could see three tracks from the record inside the Top 40 this week. These include Marianne, which is on for a new peak (8), Six Shot Morning (9) and Mimesis (11). Country sensation Zach Bryan is also on for a similar achievement. Lies featuring Lana Del Rey (10), Lodi When (21) and Robot Killed The Working Man (34) may all enter the main standings after the American dropped the emotionally charged EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. Elsewhere, Madonna and Kylie link-up on Love Sensation looks to re-enter proceedings (15), following the release of a special two-track vinyl including the Afterhours mix and radio edit. KETTAMA, Prospa and Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton's Think of You is tracking for a Top 40 placement (18), while the latest tune off the GTA VI soundtrack Flower In A Hurricane from French electronic duo Justice featuring Tame Impala and SZA, finds itself at Number 26 in this latest update.

Friday at 20:401 day Fontaines sales predictions? Maybe I'm overstating it because they're right up my street and the album is brilliant but... >50k possible?

Friday at 21:011 day I dont know if it’s too optimistic but I think Fontaines will be around 80k mark! Maybe I’ll be way off though
Friday at 21:151 day Ooh didn't realise Romance was so high first week. They're definitely bigger now than when it was released so >50k is highly likely. Hopefully >60k
Friday at 21:281 day I’m hoping the success of ‘Stop The Wedding’ can help Ashe’s album do something this week. 🤞
Friday at 22:381 day The midweek album chart on Monday will probably have loads of re-entries on it as it is National Album Day on Saturday.
Yesterday at 10:591 day Looking to be an interesting week with hopefully up to 7 new/ re entries in Fontaines Olivia Tate and zach and the gta collab!
Yesterday at 11:221 day Zach could get more than one new entry as well!(Olivia also won't be a new or re-entry technically x)
Yesterday at 11:271 day Just now, Bror said:Zach could get more than one new entry as well!that depends on how well he does on Spotify - it's worth bearing in mind that Apple Music's his strongest platform here so he's likely overperforming there relative to elsewhere (would love to see a couple more tracks make it though and wouldn't be shocked if Lodi When made tomorrow's first look at least)
Yesterday at 11:301 day First look is gonna have a bunch of new releases at least, Friday might be a different story
Yesterday at 11:461 day Yes, country tends to do much better on Apple for some reason. On some days, Country Hits is #1 on their playlist chart - even higher than Today’s Hits.
Yesterday at 12:551 day 1 hour ago, Bror said:Zach could get more than one new entry as well!(Olivia also won't be a new or re-entry technically x)Oh yes it slipped my mind that expectations was in the top 40 on Friday
Yesterday at 13:421 day I’m also wondering if Madonna and Kylie will re-enter the First Look Chart as vinyls have shipped. I don’t know how many were produced, but they have still been advertised this week, so I imagine a fair number.
