Jamie Millar taking advantage of his performance on Strictly this weekend!

Random fun fact, this was the first time the current UK number was performed on Strictly since 2017, when Ed Sheeran performed "Perfect" in the finale in December 2017.

Great to see Michael Kiwanuka on 5k sales nearly, after how sick he was nice to see him back in the charts.

Babydoll has nothing to do with Rein Me In. It's more like Man I Need.

Not in sound but it's more like RMI in the sense of how it's inevitably gonna hang around and be #1 forever.

Personally I'm quite enjoying Babydoll at the moment but I can see myself getting sick of it in a few weeks.

I certainly don’t feel it is inevitable, and I’m not sure why everyone feels that way. ‘Rein Me In’ was a slow burner, with lots of dips and growth. Its path to number one was long and unsteady, and this pattern has continued - resulting in a slow uneven decline - never achieving 3 weeks decline in a row.

‘Babydoll’ has had steady growth. Therefore, I imagine it will eventually peak and slowly decline. There’s even the possibility that its recent Strictly performance will result in three weeks of decline before December, meaning it doesn’t get a reset in the new year.

yea i was gonna say. I think y’all are really overestimating Babydoll’s longevity. Rein Me In lasted so long without really any viral trend backing it, which is the main case as to why Babydoll is doing so well. Babydoll will die down a lot quicker as much as I don’t want it too.

Jamie's Babydoll unfortunately is dull as anything, last thing we need is another COVID of the UK Charts clogging the #1 spot.

This is what you consistently referred to rein me in as, now we have a fresh song there it’s also getting that label?

I'll shut up about it. All right the ultra defensive mode of the UK Charts.

Babydoll has the be one of the few songs that I cannot hum the tune of or even recognise the thing until I actually hear it. I think that says a lot about how nothingy it is lol

Very disappointing for Kiwanuka. He will be out of the Top 10 by Friday.

That's such a weird thing to say. It might be derivative but it's a total earworm.

When I say the name, I can’t hum it, because I can’t remember how the title fits into the song! 😂 but every time I hear it, I love it.

I don't think a contrasting view is "ultra defensive". Comparing a song to a disease isn't really appropriate and never was, though.

based on whether the tracks (or their parent albums for songs which didn't chart) charted on the OCC's rock charts, only Phoebe Bridgers is considered rock by the OCC... cheeseblock
