Christmas songs have received a major boost on 1st November for a while now! It really shouldn’t be shocking anymore.

However, what I do find odd is that I haven’t seen a single post about Christmas music (like I have done for the last few years) outside of this forum, but somehow it’s had a huge start?

Maybe my algorithm is just algorithming hard this year and keeping them posts away?

I've been getting Christmas reels etc since late August It could just be you've avoided it long enough that it hasn't impacted your algorithm yet?

Effectively there is only version of AIWFCIY on Spotify (the others get minimal streams) - so just under 680,000 in total.

For Amazon: this appears to be for all versions combined, but the chart has had Halloween music deliberately removed from it by Amazon.

I think these will be the peaks for the songs, at least until next weekend, if not beyond.

But it also clearly shows what the UK’s top four Christmas songs would be if it wasn’t for Spotify.

Wham! will be even bigger this year because 'The Pudding mix' is going viral (well as viral as it can be this early in November)
