November 16, 200718 yr I REALLY wanna c dem live but I'm already going to the Spice Girls concert twice and Take That tickets went on sale b4 them but sold out very quickly. They are so expensive on eBay and I can't even afford to go to the new year's eve show (have you heard about that). I can't believe they are only gonna do one more album??? Why are they not gonna carry on, they are so good now, they should at least do another two studio albums unless the album flops, which I doubt. If they do another two then they'll have 3 new albums done and they can have a greatest hits out with a few new songs and then end it there. Go on Youtube and search for Take That + Ultimate Tour to get a glimpse of what went on last year. Otherwise - try and borrow a dvd of that tour (you must know someone who has it). It's really good ... I think you may like the interview too ... it really is funny. I never liked Take That the first time round (apart from BFG). And I always thought Gary Barlow was a bit of a miserable git. But I've changed my mind recently .... he's the funniest of the lot! Norma Just realised mods - I've gone off track here ... sorry - I'll try not to do it again! Edited November 16, 200718 yr by Norma_Snockers
November 16, 200718 yr Leona sales up to end of Thursday 273,000 (source Digital Spy) My prediction is now 405K by Sunday. Hey Olympus! I've just looked back at my prediction for her album sales for this Sunday. I predicted 410,001 - looking pretty accurate now I'd say! Do I win a coconut or something if I'm closest? Norma

Do I win a coconut or something if I'm closest? Norma Could flucuate either way though. I think she's certainly got the fastest selling debut album, if our predictions are right she'll have fastest selling album by any female act and fastest solo act, male or female. :)

November 16, 200718 yr You might win a bog brush :o :w00t: Well that's what I'd usually use a coconut for! Lets face it .... the best thing that ever happened to a coconut was Malibu! Norma Edited November 16, 200718 yr by Norma_Snockers
November 17, 200718 yr Could flucuate either way though. I think she's certainly got the fastest selling debut album, if our predictions are right she'll have fastest selling album by any female act and fastest solo act, male or female. :) Of course, the current record-holder Dido has a new album out herself in the next few months, so even if she loses the record, she might well be able to regain it...
November 17, 200718 yr Of course, the current record-holder Dido has a new album out herself in the next few months, so even if she loses the record, she might well be able to regain it... Somehow I don't see Dido doing 400k first week again.
November 17, 200718 yr Of course, the current record-holder Dido has a new album out herself in the next few months, so even if she loses the record, she might well be able to regain it... According to her, the album is not going to be commercial orientated like the previous 2. No radio friendly tracks, so I'm guessing not so big sales.

November 17, 200718 yr Are Dido's songs radio friendly? Erm yeah. "Here with me", "Thank you", "White flag", "Life for rent" and others have been major radio hits. Anyway, Dido's the best
November 17, 200718 yr Are Dido's songs radio friendly? All Dido's songs have been very radio friendly so far, but if is she's going down a different path and not releasing until Feb 2008, she won't be getting the same huge sales as Life For Rent, it's 5 years since her last album and this will only be her 3rd. :o

No need to buy a song you don't like to help the children.
November 17, 200718 yr yeah i know i can give money directly and i do that every year and i always buy the single aswell so i got something to show that i have helped just makeds me feel like i have done my little bit plus i would like to see the spice girls at least get a top 5 in the uk charts a week on sunday
November 17, 200718 yr Author Kylie is 66 copies behind Timbaland for yesterday, hope she makes it up
November 17, 200718 yr Kylie is 66 copies behind Timbaland for yesterday, hope she makes it up I can't see it happening...she is sliding on iTunes whereas Timbaland is way ahead at No.2
November 17, 200718 yr I can't see it happening...she is sliding on iTunes whereas Timbaland is way ahead at No.2 Is iTunes updating? SG's still showing at 27 for me? Surely they must have gone up a bit further, even if the record is so-so. Norma
November 17, 200718 yr to be honest I can't see Dido worrying about first week sales. She'll know by recent performances from Katie Melua, Norah Jones, James Blunt and others in her field that the market for her seems to be failing anyway. i'd also like to see leona sell 3 million copies of this album before everyone starts saying that she is better than dido.

Well, to be honest, people shouldn't be comparing both of them in the first place. Their styles are way too different to even consider a comparation.
