Any update on how the latest Duran Duran album/single are doing? They're both really struggling, which is a shame cos there are some wicked tunes on there.

I am 99% sure Chasing Cars will climb back into the top 75 come Sunday :lol: I want it to be on the chart for the whole year - 65 n-c weeks and counting so far...

Mcfly should have got punished under the trade descriptions act for calling it a greatest hits album.

Am i the only one who thinks its wrong to expliot a fan base the way they do. Its clear that the only people who buy McFly records are their overzealous fans, with the way everything drops like a stone and doesn't sell much on its own.

 

So what do the management do? Add another disc to the GH, so the fans go out and buy it again, and so sending it up the charts. I don't really like it when bands re-issue an album after a few months with extra songs on it, cos its annoying. But to do it after a month of release is wrong and they should be reported to the OCC on grounds of exploiting fans

Mcfly have NOT re-released the Greatest hits

also since Mcfly came out in 2004 they have only ever re-released an album once which was motion in the ocean back in may the reason for that

 

The Motion in the ocean tour wasn't ever going to be released but was filmed for mcfly use only however

fans kept asking if it would be released so they decided to release it with the album as the quality wasn't good enough in parts to sell alone

Yes its only onsale at woolworths for one week only

its £6 or 1.97 with either the Greatest hits cd or dvd

oh well sorry to hear about the spice girls dropping so much with there children in need single but it wasnt there best single or ballard as i have been watching the greatest hits dvd and they needed to do something like let love lead the way wich was such a beautiful song

 

great news on the gh album though up 2 places

 

just think with all the good reviews that have been getting across the north american continent for their tour could boost sales and to think tis only a week and abit before their tour kicks off in the uk so that should help sales along nicely as they will eb in the press alot and also that they will be able to do some promotional work on tv or the single and greatest hits hahaha

Yes, this will be the next UK single - no release date yet

I don't think its been added yet, Cascada are fairly hyped and have a lot of airplay so i reckon they chart from just other download sites alone

Kylie's album is awesome it just gets better and better everytime I listen to it and so many songs that could be released. I'm hoping Magnetic Electric will be the next song cos it is huge

First week it sold around 75k, last week the album sold around 40k, I guess the week before it sold around 45k, at a guess it be 160k
