So after last nights Brit awards who do you think will get the biggest boost in the charts, either due to there performance or there win?

personally loved kylies performance, well deserved win, but not sure her sales will see the big increase

i think Amy Winehouse album will be back on top spot at the weekend.

I have a feeling rihanna will with umbrella and take that - rule the world and mark ronson with valerie which i think will shoot up to outside top 10 and not forgetting kylie who i don't think will budge much may be to 3

The show was a boring disaster... so not sure if it will have much effect.. -

Bleeding Love, Wow, Valerie will climb. Umbrella and Shine will re-enter.

THe Feeling seemed to have a strong lead in the last update so they may stay top but Amy Winehouse will climb desptie putting on two rubbish performances. I give her full marks for effort and the fact that she looked a lot healthier but her dancing was cringy and she always oversings to the point of stupidity live. But people are stupid about her and will buy her album anyway.

GA will be back to the album chart! Leona, Kylie will climb...
I think Amy and Mark Ronson, Mika and Paul McCartney will have the biggest increase in sales and maybe Take That.

Singles wise i think mark ronson will climb into back into the top 20, possibly as high as 13 (??), and climbs from leona, kylie and possibly a little climb from take that, and a re-entry from rihanna!!

On the albums, amy winehouse could do well, as will mika and take that and arctic monkeys, mybe paul mccartney could do ok and get top 40

I've just seen this advertised on TV, so maybe he will cash in a little bit.

I'm not sure if there really will be a Brits effect. If there is I can see 'Valerie', 'Umbrella', 'Bleeding Love' and possibly 'Ruby' rising. I hope 'Love Is A Losing Game' will also climb to beat it's low peak but I'm not sure.

Leona Lewis!!!!!

For the first time in years my peeps won something...Kate Nash, Mark Ronson, Take That, Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys!!! :yahoo:

Did Vic Reeves do something to annoy Sharon???

An after thought...

I was really surprised that Kate Nash and Kaiser Chiefs were elimminated out of the Top 10 best single category! :o

I'm more surprised that 'Umbrella' wasn't even nominated.

I agree with Mykka, it will be the songs that have already done well in the charts that are most likely to rise (Bleeding Love, Umbrella, Valerie etc.) even though my stand out performance was 'Love Is A Losing Game' I don't think it will rise because it was never big to begin with. :(

Hi Adi,

I don't think Rihanna quallified for best single as it was "Best British Single" category......Rihanna's American.

Totally agree about Amy...She was fantastic!! :D

Oh, that makes sense then. I think we had a good bunch of British singles then!

There hardly be any changes in today's chart to reflect the Brits, from tomorrow we might see a few changes,

Didn't he say something rude about Kylie?

I can't really remember what it was but I think he was basically just slagging her off

Sorry I quoted the wrong quote!

Don't quite get this quoting malarkey yet...

Looking forward to seeing what affect The Brits has on the charts - Hopefully "Rule The World", "Shine" and possibly "Patience" will all be climbing up the singles chart and "Beautiful World" and "Ultimate Collection" will benefit too.

I think Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse will benefit the most though.

I really don't understand why people would download a song just because it was performed at the Brits.

Surely there isn't a person alive who hasn't heard Bleeding Love?! Unless they've been living under ground for the last 6 months, so why would a Brits performance persuade them to buy it after all this time?

Basically I just need to vent my frustations because Valerie is bound to go back into the top 20 and live there for the next 100000 years and I am not happy about it. <3
