March 11, 200818 yr Great No.1s for 2008, 5 weeks for Basshunter, and posssibility 5 weeks for Duffy and we are in mid March, at this rate we are going to end up with a No.1 every month :lol: I think that would be quite boring. It's good to have songs stay at the top for longer, but if it's constantly happening it will get boring eventually. I'd like to see songs spend longer at number 1 for longer, but sometimes the occasional 1/2 week number 1 songs are more exciting. I mean, how boring has the last three weeks been with a static top 3 each week. At least this week we have a climb from OneRepublic, even if I don't like the song.

March 11, 200818 yr I think Leona will be number 1 or 2 by Sunday. Don't forget the Sports Relief show will be on Friday so expect huge sales on Saturday. Also, Mercy was only "Top 40" at the same stage and it was number 1 by a healthy margin. It is unrealistic for Leona to have the same success with BIT as opposed to her other 2 official singles, but even a number 2 would still be great with so many people having bought the album. Yep, I agree Bigger Al, I expect huge sales on Saturday, whether it will be enough to topple Duffy is another question though. I think a rise into the top 3 is definitely attainable, the #1 might already be out of reach though.
March 11, 200818 yr BIT downloads are top 10, other two top 30. It often happens, will be combined later. Can't see it pushing her much higher though... If they get combined soon then i think she will have more of a chance of getting number 1 now then! Like I said before it will be a close Top 2 if not Top 3!
March 11, 200818 yr They need to add Leona's physical sales and downloads so technically she should be at about #5 in the mid-weeks. She should definitely climb during the week and I would love for a #1, but I would still be chuffed with a top 3 position. :)
