June 3, 200817 yr Those sales are awful! 3 comebacks from huge artists selling a little more than 1.5 million and 600 thousand, and a legend reissuing an argueable 100 million selling album selling less than 2 million. Exactly, so it's not only HC selling c**p!
June 3, 200817 yr i am shocked at Love Song only being top 15, i was expecting top 5 or top 3 tbh :( i know what you mean. i was hoping for a definate top 5. I've not bought my copy yet, i'm getting it tommorow. Hope Mint Royale drop (unlikey now :( ) it was $h!t back then and it's $h!t now. :P Is it true that Rihanna is re-re-releasing GGGB again in two weeks with a CD+DVD. Will that chart seperately or will it be combined with the one just released this week. I hope Take a Bow stays at the top
June 3, 200817 yr Exactly, so it's not only HC selling c**p! But this is the uk chart section and duffy has sold amazing in the uk, i doubt madonna will overtake her sales which is shocking for someone who has made music for decades.
June 3, 200817 yr Hi Martin or anyone that answers, have The Zutons stayed in the top 40/38? Cheers in advance
June 3, 200817 yr Author Hi Martin or anyone that answers, have The Zutons stayed in the top 40/38? Cheers in advance its top 38
June 3, 200817 yr Author They probably haven't been combined yet, i think thats happened before. It could be a different Mint Royale track 'Harpy' lower down, we don't have top 200s for today to clear things up
June 3, 200817 yr Author Ignore my last post, I have some sales info and a few selected tracks from the top 200s. :D Give me a mo.
June 3, 200817 yr Exactly, so it's not only HC selling c**p! The thing is with Hard Candy (well I can't really judge, as i've only heard a few of the songs, but anyway) is the majority of the tracks could be sung by ANYONE. There's nothing new about them, nothing original, so why should people spend their money on it when they've heard it all before and most likely have a similar album on CD? But yes, I see the point you're making, in that a lot of big artist comebacks have had poor sales, but you can't really compare the music market to 3/4 years ago. Things have changed so much since then with the way we obtain music.
June 3, 200817 yr 01 Mint Royale 18.3k 02 Rihanna 8.3k lol ok, i think we know who number 1 will be, amazing sales!!!
June 3, 200817 yr DID I just read the front page right... Scooter... TOP 40???  Edited June 3, 200817 yr by Johnjo07
June 3, 200817 yr -mint royale SHOULD and WILL be number 1, hahaha (sound ocd) -didnt think that many people would buy radiohead, specifically as the band themselves have attacked the release -have pigeon detectives gone up or down in singles?
June 3, 200817 yr Wow 18.3K, that's huge. Even if it does die of it will be guaranteed a top 5 placing. Do you have a position for the India.Arie song Martin? or 'Bye Bye'?
June 3, 200817 yr DID I just read the front page right... Scooter... TOP 40???  Actually just outside, pushed out by Mystery Jets when their 2 entries are combined
June 3, 200817 yr Author DID I just read the front page right... Scooter... TOP 40???  Yes, but I dunno what the other missing track is at #39
June 3, 200817 yr Top 200 Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean 228 sales :o That'll probably be due to the Urban Gypsies. 0lsfByXlMsI
June 3, 200817 yr Yes, but I dunno what the other missing track is at #39  Manic Kangaroo says it may be Mystery Jets because It would have knocked out Scooter when their sales are combined... :( Have you found out about the other Mint Royale Track yet?
