June 4, 200817 yr I'm defo getting the album, ive only heard the two released tracks up to now Yeah I've only heard those two but from them I think this album will be just amazing!
June 4, 200817 yr "Viva La Vida" will be eligible to chart from next Thursday when it's available to download as an album track. It should go at least Top 20 I would have thought. But isn't the current download considered an album track anyway? On iTunes, "Viva La Vida" isn't a single, it's an album track. When "The Ting Tings" had their problem, "Great DJ" was a single, and when the album came out, downloads from the album were considered the new source. I think the "Viva La Vida" downloads will still be disqualified. The mistake they made was giving the track away free. Their record company knew what happened to "The Ting Tings" so why do it. It won`t be disqualified from when the physical album is released. It was originally disqualified, due to free downloads offered, when the album was ordered.

But they won't be downloading it from the "physical album". On iTunes right now, they're downloading it from the album, and "Viva La Vida" is considered an album track on iTunes, not a single. If you click on the track in iTunes, you're taken to the album page. So how does the album's release make it a new source in iTunes. If "Viva la Vida" was currently released as a "single", then downloading it from the "album" next week would be the new source. "Great DJ" by "The Ting Tings" was a single and all its "singles" variants got disqualified. When the album came out, those who downloaded it from the album - that was the new source. I still say it will be DSQed next week ... stupid OCC

June 4, 200817 yr Author On Tuesday, was Kylie Minogue's X still in the top 75, or is it gone? We haven't got top 200s for yesterday only a few selected tracks.
June 4, 200817 yr But from next Thursday, the free offer will not be running! That`s what we mean. To clarify: this is the source of the download at the moment: Viva La Vida Viva La Vida (New Edit) - Single Coldplay Release Date: 06 May 2008 Total Songs: 1 Genre: Alternative Album Price: £0.79 Copyright 2008 The copyright in this sound recording is owned by EMI Records Ltd This source is NCQ. Hope this helps! That makes sense. I was confused because when you click on "Viva La Vida (New Edit)" in the Top 100 list in iTunes, you don't go to the single page, but, it's the "new edit" version that's in the Top 100 and the one being sold, so you're right. Thanks for clarifying :).

June 5, 200817 yr I think even if mint royale didnt sell another song this week, it would still be number one. Most of the versions on itunes are still at their peaks.
June 5, 200817 yr Author Does anyone know if there is a solo version of 'If I Never See Your Face Again' on her reloaded album, as it could be an album track. As MW have only credited Rihanna
June 5, 200817 yr Does anyone know if there is a solo version of 'If I Never See Your Face Again' on her reloaded album, as it could be an album track. As MW have only credited Rihanna I don;t know, but the two entries in the iTunes top 40 are actually called "If I Never See Your Face Again (Featuring Rihanna)" and "If I Never See Your Face Again (feat. Rihanna)" so, if anything, it looks like iTunes is giving Maroon 5 most of the credit.
