July 15, 200817 yr If f*cking Basshunter make the #1 album over Sharleen Spiteri I will emigrate to Iraq. Basshunter will be number one. And i'd love Sharleen to get the top spot but to be honest i cannot see it and would be happy if she reached the top five.
July 15, 200817 yr clearly physicals are saving mcfly, the 3 cds for £4 deal again. i think their fanbase are out in force in the 1st week of release like always, its always interesting to focus on the 2nd week position to see if they are appealing to the wider public this time around. also on itunes they haven't rocketed into the top10 so its not a big track with digital buyers, they seem to have a similar problem like the jonas bros. they have a problem cause children can't buy online ;) but back to this week......1st round to mcfly but i think dizzee still got legs, and has momentum, the song is fresher and still "hot". i'm hoping he will kick em down and deny them. if kid rock can nab second place, that would be a bonus!!
July 15, 200817 yr Noah and the Whale top 40 woo-hoo it isn't released until 4th August maybe top 10 hit ^_^ :P :D  :w00t:  :yahoo: :dancing:
July 15, 200817 yr Do we know where Sharleen Spiteri is in the singles? Edited July 15, 200817 yr by Gboy
July 15, 200817 yr How come Noah & The Whale are suddenly popluar? Have they been used in some TV commercial?
July 15, 200817 yr Author There are only 4 album new entries in the chart the rest are having the T in the Park effect. As for the singles chart its looking pretty good for Noah & The Whale, just hope it does not peak too early
July 15, 200817 yr Nice to see them getting some recognition They have been around for a while - I've got some old 7"'s of theirs Now it would be lovely if their friend Laura Marling got the recognition she deserved.
July 15, 200817 yr totally agree I've liked Laura Marling for ages the album should have been massive
July 15, 200817 yr That's quite a lead for McFly, but I wonder whether they'll keep it up all week, they seem like a first day sales band. I was expecting them to be top 5, but not this high up. I expect Basshunter will have consistent sales this week, but Sharleen's sales will be minimal for the rest of the week. I wonder why Amy Macdonald is top 20 in the album chart again. I doubt it, but is No Substitute Love in the top 40? and what about Estelle's album?
July 15, 200817 yr None of them are a patch on anything that was on Confessions though. She has to realise she cant realease rubbish and still expect to do well. And please tell me McFly aint number one :puke2: I agree..Madonna's new stuff isnt as good.
July 15, 200817 yr How far has Ting Tings SUALMG gone up? Is it any closer to Top 10? -_- Up 2 places.
July 15, 200817 yr Author I doubt it, but is No Substitute Love in the top 40? and what about Estelle's album? NSL has left the top 40 chart, her album is down 7 places
July 15, 200817 yr Ah c**p, I hope McSh*t don't make #1 by Sunday. Don't worry - that 3 for £4 will have ultra-front-loaded their sales, they won't last the week.
July 15, 200817 yr Oh god at mcfly and basshunter both being number 1 on singles and albums! cheese fest!
July 15, 200817 yr OH MY GOD - Sharleen might make the number one spot in the albums :cheer: :yahoo: Nah Basshunters sales for singles get better towards the end of the week (With it being weekend an all ;)) so thats whats probably more likely to happen the next week or so. And now time for some recognition for McFly... :yahoo: I seriously cant be the only one who doesnt mind them being number 1? Maybe Dizzee can climb next week back to the number 1 spot...
