July 15, 200817 yr this also might explain things about mcfly's lead, they did cd signings yesterday (deja vu anyone?? how many times have they done this?) at 2 locations and will be doing more this week. they always do these tactics to get sales, desperate much? reeks! poor dizzee with the better track that appeals to the wider public has a BIG battle against them maybe too much to cope with their onslaught. but the good news is we could see a horrific drop next week :lol: how horrific? bring on next week! So what if they do signings... most of the big bands used to do that all the time. July 15, 200817 yr No, the most important is to have big hits to a larger audience so they can be remembered in 10 years! Girls Aloud and the Sugababes for example will be remembered because they have all had big hits. McFly only sells thanks to their fanbase, that's why they won't be remembered when people look back at the noughties. popjustice was saying about that because he was saying about how they wore those stupid outfits on bb just to get publicity and that they were ofcourse a huge act as they have had so many number ones and then he said now try and name them and then he just gave up lol

Sorry but mcfly are pathetic, i really thought this time around, they were gona be about the good music. They are a joke. Apparently I just heard there was some code error regarding their discount at HMV, they didn't receive the code for the discount from head office. So they had to register a sale in a different way, so I don't know how that effects its position at the moment. Its probably why the track has huge sales in front of Dizzee

It might be a cheap way to flog their records, but at least they are giving their fans what they want. I wouldn't mind if my favourite artists went around the country signing copies of their latest single once in a while. Maybe that's why they have a strong fanbase - because they are "nice" to them.
