July 25, 200817 yr That is sooooooo bad for McFly, and this is what they can do when they're A-listed on radio1 :lol: Noone gives a $h!t about them anymore :lol:no its just that the song was on a free album that went out in 2.4m papers(mcfly raised sales of the mail on sunday by 300,000) and there arena tour(selling fast) was out the same day not toi mention other summer gigs so its obvious it was going to fall fast but hey its mcfly and when it comes to them people on here are so f***ing quick to slag them off it pisses me off! yet when an act other people like gets slagged off they are so f***ing quick to moan about it

Yeah the song may have fallen 19 places, yeah the song may not be what you like... WE KNOW! Is there any point in having to say the same thing day in and day out? Like someone said in the thread last week, if this was about Mariah Carey or someone it would have been stopped a LONG TIME AGO! :rolleyes:
July 26, 200817 yr 'Gold' was number 1 on its original release in 1992, and then again in 1999 when it was re-issued - the re-issue corrected a few errors with the first version, and coincided with the Mamma Mia musical opening in London, along with that 'Thank ABBA For The Music' song featuring Steps and the like singing their versions of ABBA songs. Ashamedly I still have the video of that recorded off 'The Box' when I was 10... The current version available in stores is the '30th Anniversary' version from 2004. When that was released it peaked at number 4 in April, and then returned to the top 40 in December as everyone bought it for Christmas.
