July 30, 200817 yr Why playlist a song when you dont even know what the f**k its called yet? Can't find anything on google on the title of Keane's new track, but I heard they have changed direction in their music, to Dance Indie.

July 31, 200817 yr Can't find anything on google on the title of Keane's new track, but I heard they have changed direction in their music, to Dance Indie. Ooh I hope so, thats like my two favourite genres rolled into one! Although I'm still not sure if I'd like it...I find most of Keane's stuff dull
July 31, 200817 yr Still no addage of Mariah. :arrr: Pleased to see it featured as song of the week on Radio 2, but I still want Radio 1 on board. :arrr:
July 31, 200817 yr cant believe miley cyrus is on! its not true r1 dont play disney songs, jonas brothers got loads.
August 1, 200817 yr I suppose it isn't released until September 8th though. And is 'Can't Stop Moving' getting a re-release then? Yeah i don't know why they didn't playlist it last year. Now they've got this crappier version that will flop just as bad because i think the first version did get decent videoplay, so it had its chance. Miley Cyrus? There's so many I don't know on that playlist actually, I may have to check them out but I suspect they'll be the usual indie stuff Radio 1 orgasmas over. I think they're slowly abandoning indie. They can see that its dying but they can't just dump it all at once, that would be a disaster for ratings. I'm surprised the Pussycat Dolls haven't been playlisted. I've never got hooked to a song so fast for nearly a year :o Edited August 1, 200817 yr by BJBB Harve
August 1, 200817 yr I've just realised Ne Yo has been A listed since 28th May! :o Thats the same length as the Pigeon Detectives- I Found Out though there is a difference between a #1 and a #42 single

August 1, 200817 yr  Don't take my word on it! :P I just don't think its a very good move to hang onto it.

What the hell are you on about? They won't abandon an ENTIRE genre! Maybe the fake indie bands are becoming less 'trendy' but they would never completely abandon it, they still played real indie bands in the dark ages of the late 90's and the early 00's!
August 2, 200817 yr I hope they do abandon some of the pop/indie! they play so much of it, and it all sounds the same! I have to switch channels to get more variety.
