According to an interview they did in the Daily Star the song has more in common with Rule The World than Shine.

I hope it will be more like Patience-Shine then Rule The World- I never understood the hype for that song... it's quite bland.

 

Rule The World is epic to me, I like it so much more than Patience :wub: one of the most atmospheric ballads for years

 

Shine is better than both of those though :heart:

I'm not predicting anything either until I hear it! I do think they realise they can't do another 'Wait For Life' type thing again (album track maybe - single - NO NO NO NO!)

I do like some of the Take That's song (Shine, Rule the World) but I would hate to see them get number over Britney.

I really hope Britney gets to #1 with Womanizer - she really deserves to.

Are both songs released for download the same week? Hopefully Britney could get to #1 on downloads before Take That inevitably get there on physicals too -_-

I think Britney releases her download 2 weeks earlier than her physical though (Not 100% sure)

Yeah I remember thinking Gimme More was definitely going to be #1 and then it only got to 3! (And then fell on physical week!)

But I didn't really like Gimme More, whereas I think Womanizer is great. I do think TT will probably get the #1 though :(

'Womanizer' has grabbed more fans and more people seem to quite like it. and the Gimme More video DIDN'T help much now did it :heehee: With the video being PREMIERED tonight we can only hope that it will be a much better video than Gimme More! and from the pics, to me, she's already beaten that :D

Ooh, Take That vs Britney will be the biggest showdown for #1 in yeeears.

Last year it certainly wasn't with Britney #6 (on the release week) and TT #2.

Britney Spears is getting digitally released on the tenth anyways, so she will be number one before the 24th.
