Poor Sugababes, I can see them getting dropped by their label at this rate. :(

I doubt it - Up until this point they have been a consistant act!

Don't forget what happened with All Saints!

I doubt the babes will get dropped, surely every act is allowed some screw up somewhere along the line?

R.I.P Eartha Kitt (17/01/1927 - 25/12/2008). :(

I just heard this, really sad

Still I expect Santa Baby will climb now. I want her 80s classic Where Is My Man to rechart...

It should be interesting to see how rapidly the christmas songs decline now christmas is over. :o And more interestingly still, how all the other acts stand when they're all gone.
all the top of the pops performers will probably climb steeply after all the christmas songs leave. Mariah should be top 40 by mid next week.

Guess you're right, but that might happen anyway. I have the feeling the Christmas songs will be around til New Year.

But All Saints had been away for years then came back and signed a new record deal and flopped so I can understand why they was dropped!

Who were the performers?

After Coldplay's performance on TOTP i have really grown again on liking VLV Because i got bored of it at one point :o

Who were the performers?

Take That - Greatest Day

Leona Lewis - Run

Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon a Christmas Song

PCD - I Hate This Part

Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss a Beat

Coldplay - Viva La Vida

Sam Sparro - Black & Gold

Adele - Chasing Pavements

I doubt it will help that much as only 3.7 million tuned in.

Btw, does anyone have the pop bars?

Is 3.7 million good for a TOTP Christmas special. I know its in the top 15 watched on christmas day. I had hoped it would be enough for the BBC to decide to bring back the show permanantly

Thats quite a poor figure tbh! I am sure the BBC started to get fed up with the TOTP Christmas Special when it was pulling in 5 million viewers!

Yes that isn't that great. Depends a lot on the time of the day though. I suppose share matters most tbh. Does anyone know that?

Had a 30% share, so not too bad.

But I never watch TOTPs at Christmas, mainly as i'm always on the phone to relatives or i'm talking to relatives in my house. I'm sure a lot of ppl are the same. Isa there an edition at New Year? That might be more telling.
