January 25, 200917 yr Lily Allen climbed to #1 on iTunes on Saturday evening or so, it's likely it wouldn't have sold enough to make the WEEK'S top 75. I knew she wouldn't be in the top 40 anyway. No, you are wrong there - even 1 day at #1 on iTunes will be more than enough to go T75, and almost certainly T40 - she *must* have been excluded for some reason.
January 25, 200917 yr Mykonos so low :(. Its been ages since i've barely heard a top 3 song. I feel so out of touch :snif:

I knew she wouldn't be in the top 40 anyway.True, Lily went #1 5pm on Saturday. Compare to Ti & Rihanna last November that had a similiar situation but didn't get to download #1 until the Sunday but still managed to chart anyway at #39. No, you are wrong there - even 1 day at #1 on iTunes will be more than enough to go T75, and almost certainly T40 - she *must* have been excluded for some reason.  Agreed. Assuming saturday sales are an average day, Lady Gaga sold 77K the week before, so being conservatve and say 1 day sales of 10K, you are still easily in Top40. Even with 5K it could be Top40. Missing Top40 was possible but missing Top75? no way makes sense - for some reason it's excluded. Singles: 01 Lady GaGa feat. January 25, 200917 yr wheres TSOGA? or am i being blind? It's now on the budget chart (like Tangled Up)
January 25, 200917 yr I might be being stupid but what is TSOGA The Sound of Girls Aloud - their greatest hits
January 25, 200917 yr I might be being stupid but what is TSOGA Girls Aloud's GH: The sound of girls aloud
January 25, 200917 yr Was this changed during the week? We had it in the midweeks didn't we? Its [the budget chart/price tag] really helping Tangled Up sell, hopefully will have the same effect on TSOGA. All sales will still count together although it won't appear on the main chart, am i right? TT album dropping off a fair bit, and the single, they best get something out soon or The Circus will drop behind Beautiful World! still top 50 its insane, who's left to buy it?! Its been under £5 everywhere for forever! Same with Leona, but will we get another single from Spirit? Its either Misses Glass, or she does a Rihanna and goes back to releasing songs off the original. I always thought Take a Bow would've been a single... Edited January 25, 200917 yr by spicefunk

January 25, 200917 yr No, you are wrong there - even 1 day at #1 on iTunes will be more than enough to go T75, and almost certainly T40 - she *must* have been excluded for some reason.  It spent way less than half a day on the last day of the week at #1, I can guarantee it won't be disqualified.
January 25, 200917 yr I'm astounded that Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire is above Ulysses on the latter's first week. What on earth is going on?
January 25, 200917 yr Huge drop or a disqualification of some copies... No longer charting, now only eligible for the Budget Chart.
January 25, 200917 yr ^ Just seen everyone else explain it before I posted it. Was this changed during the week? We had it in the midweeks didn't we? Its [the budget chart/price tag] really helping Tangled Up sell, hopefully will have the same effect on TSOGA. All sales will still count together although it won't appear on the main chart, am i right? I think this is correct but it is likely that we won't get the full sales of either TU or TSOGA until the end of the year with full album year-end sales?
January 25, 200917 yr TT album dropping off a fair bit, and the single, they best get something out soon or The Circus will drop behind Beautiful World! still top 50 its insane, who's left to buy it?! Its been under £5 everywhere for forever! It was expected Greatest Day would fall quite swiftly (its hardly their best song). In fact I was surprised to find it had stayed in the top 40 (just) for a further week. Not too concerned about the album as it will rise again when Up All Night (probably the second best, if not the best song on the album) is released on 2nd March - with the video premiered next Tuesday. BW is still full price in all but one shop near me - still - nowt wrong with such a brilliant album still being in the top 75 after well over two years. I wouldn't be surprised if a load of GA stuff goes up to around Comic Relief time ... as two of their group are doing this Kili climb with Gary Barlow, et al - its going to have a whole one-hour documentary on it leading up to Comic Relief day. By the way ... as you're not a fan of Take That ... steer clear of Channel 5 on 4th February ... there's a new one-hour show on them being shown!  Norma Edited January 25, 200917 yr by Norma_Snockers
January 25, 200917 yr Weird that Lily is nowhere to be seen :o Amazing for 'Sober' though. Definately soooo much better than I originally expected.
