Amy Studt is finally getting a proper push it looks like, with her new single 'Nice Boys'. Video:

She's SO good. Quirky song (cannot go wrong with schoolyard chanting) and fabulously silly video (it's always the men with torches!). I can see this doing big things with a little airplay support...

Video goes on iTunes on Feb 22nd, then the single on Sunday March 1st. The album 'My Paper Made Men' will also be out on CD in March.

A remix of it is PJ's song of the day too.

Love it. :o Great song and video, I hope they do push it properly, it's about time she made a proper comeback.

I still wish the excellent 'Ladder In My Tights' from her first album was released, that would have done wonders for her. I still can't fathom why they went with a copycat Sheryl Crow cover.

My friend sent this to me literally an hour ago and I can't stop listening to it on my Ipod :o

It's brilliant. Amy Studt is brilliant and I hope it does well for her.

I love it, it's a great song and sounds really catchy, i think it will be a hit.

Heard this yesterday I think, I absolutely love it. So glad she's properly back too, her debut era was immense.
I like Amy Studt and I do like this song but I can't help but feel that maybe she should've gone for a more 'grown up' sound??

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't see the appeal with this then

I find it rather annoying and irritating. :( Which is a shame as I loved her previous singles :(

I love this, never been much of a fan of Amy, but I find this song really amazingly catchy, I really hope this can do well :D

Same on first listen, I don't see whats so good about it but maybe it needs a few more ^_^ She'll never beat Under The Thumb for me

This is absolutely terrible. It's like some circa 1999 Corrs car crash music. How on earth does this fit into the current music climate?!

This will flop hard. It doesn't help that she looks like a crack addict.

Charming. It won't flop, however. If "today's music climate" is indiecools doing stop-start disjointed electropop then I'm bloody glad it doesn't fit, but as far as I can see today's climate accomodates most genres and styles and this is fairly 'in', the piano beat etc.

It doesn't fit because it sounds 10 years out of date ++++

It will flop without doubt. Who is the target audience for this? It's like a St. Trinians style disaster. Why would it catch on?
