Ooooh, I hope The Veronicas have managed 4 weeks in the top 10. That would be very impressive for a #8 peaking single.

I hope so too! I really love Untouched

Even more impressive than the phenomenal success of Soulja Boy Tell `Em's single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," which spent seven non-consecutive weeks on the charts at #1, is the grass roots story behind the artist's emergence. Born in Chicago (as DeAndre Ramone Way) and raised in Atlanta and Mississippi, Soulja Boy garnered a sizable following by publishing his home-studio demos on YouTube and MySpace. An independently released album (STILL UNSIGNED AND MAJOR) and a homemade video for "Crank That" led to a deal with Interscope, who released Soulja's second full-length, SOULJABOYTELLEM.COM, in 2007. Soulja Boy's music is steeped in the Dirty South style, drawing heavily from crunk and hook-heavy, Southern party rap. - HMV

That's awful for Little Boots. :o I didn't think she'd be quite as big as everyone was bigging her up to be, but I certainly thought she'd got top ten with the first two or three singles and the album would do relatively well. :(

Enter Shikari only 16

But that's a lot higher than I thought it would be! :D

Also, Jordin isn't top 10 :o

Veronicas 4 weeks top 10 peaking at 8. Wow.

LOL at Soulja Boy. Dropping out of the top 10 in the physical release week. Has this ever happened til now? :o

My predictions:

1) David Guetta/Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over

2) Pixie Lott - Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)

3) Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow

4) Agnes - Release Me

5) Keri Hilson Feat. Kanye West & Ne-Yo - Knock You Down

7) Lady GaGa - Paparazzi

10) Jordin Sparks - Battlefield (11)

12) Take That - Said It All (?)

13) Freemasons Feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) (15)

15) Paloma Faith - Stone Cold Sober (17)

20) Lenka - The Show (22)

22) The Saturdays - Work :o (31)

31) The Yeah You's - 15 Minutes (36)

38) Jack Peñate - Be The One (35)

39) Gossip - Heavy Cross so close (40)

Dropouts this week

Airi L - When Love Takes Over

Kasabian - Underdog

Now I'm disappointed, I was dying to listen to Airi L again

Battlefield misses out on Top 10 - if this doesn't get to Top 10 then I will be annoyed!

Jordin Sparks #11 (SPOT ON! GO ME! ;o)

PCD #13 (#18 - 5 IN)

Paloma #16 (#17 - 1 IN)

Lenka #24 (#22 - 2 OUT)

The Yeah Yous #38 (#36 - 2 OUT)

A promising young Arizona-based vocalist who entered a number of singing contests in her early teens, Jordin Sparks finally got her big break when she won the sixth season of AMERICAN IDOL in 2007 at the tender age of 17. Despite her strong religious faith, the amiable performer opted not to go the CCM route on her self-titled debut, instead offering up a highly accessible--and largely secular--R&B/pop album that reached the upper tiers of the Billboard charts - HMV

'Battlefield' deserves to go Top 3 really. It's easily one of my favourite songs of the year. :(

What's most shocking about Little Boots' drop is the album was #21 in the first set of midweeks. 5-40 though. :o

In worse news, Placebo fell from #8 to out of the top 40 altogether.

Really hope Battlefield can go top 10- hopefully 5. Missed top 10 by less than 500 this week.

Why has she suffered such a drop? 35 places is practically unheard of these days, especially for someone like her!
