I can't take The Noisettes seriously, but it does sound like a Motown throwback. Maybe that's part of why it's seeing a climb this week? MJ being a big part of motown at one point.

Beat It is better than Thriller, but Billy Jean is probably in my top 3 MJ tracks. It's just so perfect.

Oh Beat It I like Beat It so much, version with Fergie is great and cover of Fall Out Boy is great.

I'm not keen on the FOB cover, but Fergie's version is brilliant!

Probably the best cover on the Thriller 25 album.

None of the singles will be eligible for the Hot 100

Why? :o

Well they won't be excluded from the Hot Digital tracks chart, but the Hot 100 only allows 'current' singles to chart.

Saturdays - looks like their Top 10 run will come to an end next week!

The U.K-based teen pop outfit the Saturdays formed in 2007 under the auspices of Polydor's Fascination Records. The five-piece girl group sports an accessible, melodic electro-pop sound tailored for pop radio, not to mention eye-catching good looks. In 2008 their debut single, "If This Is Love," hit number eight on the U.K. charts, only to be surpassed by "Up," which made it to number five, and "Issues" which reached number four. Their full-length studio album, CHASING LIGHTS, appeared in late 2008, followed soon after by a cover of the Depeche Mode synth-pop classic, "Just Can't Get Enough." With Spice Girls-inspired colour-coordinated outfits and distinct musical personalities, the Saturdays instantly captured the attention of the U.K. media, appearing on several television shows including the drama HOLLYOAKS LATER and the children's show ROSS LEE'S GHOULIES. - HMV

i think bulletproof has it i think its 2 soon for MJ to have made a number 1....net week however...

Beat It = Fantastic track that fused Rock, Dance & R'N'B music in one tidy package that climbed to the top of the charts 3.5 years before Run DMC ft Aerosmith - Walk This Way.

Great Eddie Van Halen guitar solo.

Also responsible for making Weird Al Yankovich famous

Weird Al Yankovich - Eat It

This may struggle to go Top 20 next week due to MJ, I can honsetly see about 7-8 MJ tracks in the top reaches next week
Why? :o
Because they have a seperate chart for tracks that are slightly older or something! Which is what I personally think we should have now too :(

Nah, I do prefer our way - seems fairer really.

Smooth Criminal is quite low, but it did take off very late.

Billie Jean, Thriller and Man In The Mirror all to come for MJ.

Smooth Criminal! Lovin' this weeks chart

I completely disagree.

The charts should reflect what sells, otherwise the charts become a mockery.

:o You don't want these MJ songs in the chart?

I think it's brilliant!

If people have bought the songs, they deserve to chart in the offical chart, surely? :o
