:cheer: That's great then. Do you know if anyone slightly booed though, or did they just laugh?

The thing with Diana is that she actually couldn't sing :)

SuBo could.

Diana could sing (not as strong and powerful as Rachel/Laura/Ruth/Alex) but she started have a yodelling sort of sound post-laryngitis. I know you probably think she couldn't sing beforehand but the truth is she could.

It might be unique and it might be different but her voice was still great although she hit a few bum notes in White Flag :P

I was at S Club 8's Stacey's audition.

She sung 'Who's Loving You', and something else...can't remember what now.

She was no Shaheen, bad choice of song, especially when everyone is now comparing him to that song, especially Simon - but she did get through

Apparently Cheryl was very complimentary

From what I remember, there was no booing in my auditions. Laughter, yes, but mainly just silence... like, we stood up because one guy was so funny when talkign to the judges and as soon as he opened his mouth, everyone in the place sat down at the same split second!

It seems to me then that it's pretty similar to last series' auditions (except with amplified laughter :P )

I think Lily will be like the female Simon Cowell. :heehee:

Can't wait to see it back on TV! Looking forward to see Cheryl with her red hair!

Spoilers are about who has REPORTEDLY got which category - DON'T READ SPOILERS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

The leaks are coming fast and furious from this year's X Factor set with details emerging of which group each of the judges will be mentoring, along with more information on who the special guest stars will be.

Today's Sun reports that Louis Walsh will be looking after the groups for the fourth time in his six series as an X Factor judge, while Simon Cowell will have the over-25s category for the first time since he guided Steve Brookstein to victory in the 2004 series. And look how that turned out!

The newspaper also claims that Cheryl will once again get the 16 to 25-year-old girls and Dannii will get the similar boys' category - interestingly, those are the categories that both Dannii and Cheryl won the series with in previous years.

Meanwhile, the show's choreographer Brian Friedman has revealed that Madonna and Robbie Williams will both be appearing on the live shows.

The pop superstars will be joined by Whitney Houston and Rihanna in what is going to be one of the most star-studded line-ups to date.

It's also been claimed that Kate Moss will be helping one of the judges to whittle down their last six acts to the final three.

The model is a big fan of the series and went along to watch several of last year's live shows. She is expected to join one of the judges at their 'home' for the final heat before the show enters the live stages.

Pop star Robbie Williams will appear on the new series of the X Factor, a statement on his website has confirmed.

It is not clear what his role will be, but it is likely the star, who has recently announced details of his new album, will perform on the ITV show.

Earlier this week, newspapers reported that the 31-year-old would make an appearance during the series.

A statement posted on his website said: "We're very excited to tell you that this is true."

The singer announced earlier this month that his next album - Reality Killed The Video Star - will be released in November.

The first single from the album, Bodies, will be released on 11 October.

More rumours

Williams, best known for hits such as Angels and Let Me Entertain You, has not revealed when he will appear on the X Factor.

"Details are still being finalised so make sure you stay tuned for further announcements," the statement said.

"As soon as we're able to tell you more, we'll let you know right here."

It has also been rumoured that Rihanna, Whitney Houston and Madonna might also make appearances on the talent show, which is hosted by Dermot O'Leary.

Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh will all return on the judging panel.

Last year, Alexandra Burke was crowned the winner of the show.
