September 3, 200916 yr Jay-Z isn't as far ahead as I thought he would be today. I thought it would be at least 3k. It's a shame Sugababes aren't #1 but their first #2 and their highest selling first week sales is nothing to be ashamed of. I doubt that the second single or the album will get to #1 as I think the single is released the same week as Happy and the album the week after Echo. It's a shame really but hopefully high sales will more than make up for it.

We've all been saying it would happen it was just a matter of "when" :lol: But like Steve said, the 'babes can hardly be disappointed with their biggest opening week sales, and their first number 2!

It's a joke that Kanye, Rihanna, JayZ can release any old crap together and it can get to number one just off their names... people should go out and back the british girlgroup and get them to number one.

Nah, think I'll stick with the better song.. which is RTT. I don't think its unpatriotic to not purchase a single from a British group which isn't up to scratch. What kind of an idiot would spend 99p on a record they hated just to wave the Union Jack?! Whatever.. I think the Babes need to release singles the quality of About You Now and Push The Button, or they could quickly slide into irrelevance.

Even Guetta and Akon may overtake the Sugababes on Itunes by the end of the week. And seeing as they count for at least 70% of the download market, they have no chance. The physical single of GS won't help either, I can imagine them selling 2k at best. and most of those will be pre-orders that have already been counted. Serves them right for releasing a lacklustre mix of Black Eyed Peas and Right Said Fred. Still, I don't completely write them off. Let's see how About A Girl does. I've only heard a live performance of it on Youtube but already it sounds 10x better than GS. We shall see....
