Also the irony that the Sugas new boss is challenging them for no1 and "the 4th babe" is helping him! You think he'd have picked another week and not shot his own act in the foot!
Unfortunately Universal Island are in charge of release and promo in the UK, so the old bosses set them up to challenge the new boss.

#2 is still amazing. The sales are fantastic, amazing. Even if they fall to 3 the sales for this week are still outstanding.

Lol, sometimes it's hard to tell whether the baiters or the baited are more deluded.

anywayyy, awesome top 5 in the albums as well. Amaazing for Vera! all the promo over the beginning of the week has really boosted her! she's

Question - how much has Paolo's album sold to date?

All chavs buying/downloading JayZ single make me sick. :(

Here he says all the chavs who are buying RTT makes him sick. not, all the people buying RTT are chavs makes him sick.

So he isn't necessarily calling anyone a chav.

The funny thing is, I doubt the actual members of Sugababes or anyone involved in this chart battle actually care as much as a lot of people here seem to. They'd probably find it amusing to watch

i think that British people should back up their home-grown artists (and that coming from a Lebanese guy) since American people are doing the same...

just tell me how many songs by British artists have become hits in the US the past 10 years???? NEXT TO NONE!!! because no US radio would wanna play British pop!!!!

why are the Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane highly successful in the US while Girls Aloud, Sugababes and the Saturdays are nowhere to be seen???!!!!

so British people should support their home-grown acts otherwise most of them will get dropped by record labels and we will have hundreds of hip-hop, R&B, country acts invading British and international airwaves with no British acts to compete...

i live in Beirut, Lebanon and most of the songs that are hits here are by British artists such as the Sugababes, Ting Tings, Little Boots, Calvin Harris etc...

The Brits have a lot to offer to the world, and it should stay that way....

But i don't think it's sensible to back homegrown artists if the song is crap (or inferior to past hits). I back artists if their songs/performances are consistently good (Rihanna, Leona, Christina, Bey). I would never buy a song just because the artist is british.

Also, i'd like to add that lot's of British artists are huge in Australia. Leona, Lily Allen, Mika and Alesha Dixon have all had top 10 hits in Oz. I know Australia isn't exactly as big as US but it's still a big-ish market.

I agree with SIX. I'm going to listen to music because I like the song, not because who sings it. Their nationality shouldn't factor into it.
Nationality is never important to me when it comes to songs. A good song is still a good song.

RyRy - if you are around at all today, can you please post the positions of the following:-

Pitbull - HRS

Dolly Rockers - GD

in the singles chart please :)

Shame. The Used is flopping with their new album. Their previous album made the Top 40. I wonder what happened...

KoL still 6. But by Sunday it could be #7.

Anyway, I cba to read the previous posts. It gives me heartache.

I wish Prodigy released Colours as their third single. TMTTH has been hyped-up by many. Colours makes a great ringtone :D
We only have a top 39 for singles - JayZ/et al listed twice.

Do you Jay Z is at 40 as well or is he listed as being at No 1 twice?

How come JayZ is listed twice when he only has one version of the song out?

Its a database error, it has pushed every track down a place, its not that easy to explain. Its the same track but it occupies the top 2 slots, its an error on the database, so it pushes every single track down.

Do you have the position of JM album please.

Thanks in advance.

And while I'm here, I quickly answer this.

5+5

That's my bit for the day. :D

Oh ok. I was hoping there would be two versions in the top 40 so RTT's sales would be even higher :D
