THE BIG YEAR-END GAME 2008

Year-end top 20 singles and albums prediction game

This game is something new but something old. The game is simple: you have to predict this year's (2008) top 20 singles and albums. If YOU are the closest to the official year-end chart in the end of the year you will be the winner! But this time you can win also prizes: the first three will get Amazon vouchers!

 

Rules and scoring

* Predict the year-end top 20 for both singles and albums.

* The number of places you are away from the official year-end chart positions is all added up, and the players are ranked, so the person with the least number of points is 1st, and then 2nd etc.

* There are no ties! The time of the post (or if you edit your prediction then the time of the amendment of your post) will count. If more players have the same points the earlier you predicted the higher you get.

* You can edit your prediction as many times as you want (until the thread is open).

* The year-end chart that contains also sales up to 31st December 2008 will count (not the one announced by Radio 1 before the new year).

* You must give the correct name of the artist and at least the beginning of the title of the song. For example:

* If your vote contain two songs on the same place or a place is missing, the vote won't be valid! So please check back your post if everything's OK!

* You can predict the sales too but it won't count... just for fun :D

* The game thread is open until Friday 12th December 2008. You can enter and edit you predictions until this date. On the 12th December I will close it!

 

Results will be announced as soon as the year-end chart will be revealed!

 

And the most important thing, the prizes:

 

1. place: Amazon voucher worth £15

2. place: Amazon voucher worth £10

3. Place: Amazon voucher worth £5

I might not play for the vouchers, but for the simple fun of playing :D Thoise vouchers are not Ok in the country where I'm lving right now :P Anyway, I'll have a shot for the game because it's really fun to predict the yearly best chart :w00t: xox.

You can order something else from Amazon.com not just CDs. It'll be delivered to other countries too as far as I know.
