March 8, 201115 yr I like Adele but I've had enough of her now lol. She has dominated the charts for too long now. Can't wait for some new material to hit the top 10 tbh.
March 8, 201115 yr I like Adele but I've had enough of her now lol. She has dominated the charts for too long now. Can't wait for some new material to hit the top 10 tbh. Adele is dominating the top of the charts so any new material below her is welcome
March 8, 201115 yr Wow, so all of Bruno Mars's songs climb. There's two album tracks climbing in/into the top 40. Even Firework is climbing! Jeremiah still not top 40!!! :( I hope Jessie J can get back to #1 this week, although I don't think she will. And I hope Tinie and Wiz can get top 10!!
March 8, 201115 yr Wow really happy with Kylie and Taio still still top 15, and lady gaga holding top 5, completly surprised in a good way to see take that still top 30 in the singles and i hope olly murs can manage his current position or higher. In the albums im disapointed elbow arent number 1 to be honest, i think was there best shot at getting a well deserved and over due number 1, noah and the whale doing alot better than i expected and i certainly didnt expect to see them higher than avril.
March 8, 201115 yr Adele clinging on hope she can stay #1 on both. If SLY falls off #1 on iTunes though she wont be #1 officially, the album version should stick to #1 though looking at the lead it hd an hour ago or so. To be honest she's exceeded any expectations so anything now is just a bonus. Wonderman #11, its going to miss out. :( Edited March 8, 201115 yr by Karma
March 9, 201115 yr I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know how Wonderland's 'Not A Love Song' is doing.

March 9, 201115 yr Given that Britney's the kind of act whose UK airplay has always been consistently non-existent in comparison to her (once) superlative unique (uk) single chart success ( for just the same reason she has NEVER HAD a MULTI-PLATINUM UK album after sophomore release) this isn't much of a shock but Radio has just COMPLETELY TERMINATED her UK airplay's existence. From the official release of the track (to radio) since the weekend up till Monday TTWE had been played a total off.... ....***19*** times up to Monday, today her cumulative total SWELLED to 21!!!!. http://www.planet-flipside.com/vboard/images/smilies/funeral.gif Official link; http://comparemyradio.com/tracks/Britney_S..._The_World_Ends Needless to say Lady Gaga got hundreds more spins than Britney's ENTIRE midweek TOTAL in the FIRST FIVE SECONDs of "Born This Way's " official release to radio http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/rotfl.gif http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/rotfl.gifhttp://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/rotfl.gif Given the inevitable law of diminishing returns, sticking to the same path, this track is already repeating the clear pattern of HIAM yet not the slightest change in the marketing plan? Still no video (it doesn't matter if you are actually have a fresh new healthy career like Gaga or Jessie J you can still get away with it + have prolonged huge chart success with a belated video, if you are a seriously crippled product FORGET it - NO CHANCE!) or significant promo its almost as if Jive were purposely trying to derail her career (not that it would take much effort these days) ?
March 9, 201115 yr Compare my Radio isn't 100% accurate though. I've heard a song play on a radio station and then it never appears on the website. Although the website is fantastic for seeing the general trends for what's getting played on each radio station (or for some certain radio stations, the lack of any trend at all...).
March 9, 201115 yr Given that Britney's the kind of act ... I love you. Edited March 9, 201115 yr by SKOB
March 9, 201115 yr Author Adele's 19 sells millionth copy 11:09 | Wednesday March 9, 2011 Source: MW By Paul Williams Adele’s first album 19 has surpassed 1m sales in the UK, just days after its follow-up 21 reached the same milestone. The 2008 XL release sold its one-millionth copy yesterday morning as it continued a revival in sales started last year when several contestants on The X Factor performed in her style the Bob Dylan song Make You Feel My Love, which features on 19. Two years after coming out, the album was the 85th biggest-selling artist title of 2010, selling 155,294 copies during the year, while up to the end of last week it had sold another 256,534 copies this year to stand as 2011’s fourth-biggest artist album behind 21, Def Jam/Mercury artist Rihanna’s Loud and Elektra/Atlantic act Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Adele’s first album is only the third issued by XL to reach 1m sales in the UK with the second, 21, hitting seven figures last week. Its first million seller, Prodigy’s 1997 The Fat Of The Land, remains the independent company’s all-time biggest seller both in the UK and globally. The album 21 is on course to spend a seventh consecutive week at number one this coming Sunday, having already sold an additional 70,000 copies this week. It will be the longest run at number one since Sony’s The Essential Michael Jackson album spent seven weeks at the top during July and August 2009 following Jackson's death and the lengthiest by an indie release since Independiente’s Travis album the Man Who spent a ninth week at the top in March 2000. However, this run was non-consecutive. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Wednesday Update - Top 40 Only Singles 1 Adele 2 Jessie J ft. March 9, 201115 yr According to music week, Adele sales for '21' so far this week are 70K. And '19' has now passed the 1 million total sales mark! http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?section...1044480&c=1 Edited March 9, 201115 yr by Olympus
March 9, 201115 yr Author Yesterday Adele was on 33k for the single and 49k for the album. Thanks for the sales info, album sales are high again :o Most likely another 150k plus. Talk about success in just 7 weeks, I never estimated sales like that for her, especially at this time of the year. It feels like Xmas again with TT.
March 9, 201115 yr #1 - 21 #1 - SLY #5 - 19 #5 - RITD Could she really get another week with two albums & singles in top 5? :o I think Black & Yellow may push to #5 though. Rolling in the Deep has been in the top 5 for so long now, its run in the top 10 is going to be huge, and Someone Like You! :w00t: I think last week of MYFML in top 40 come Sunday. Olly - #20, wonder if he'll hang on in there. Tinie - #11, COME ON, one more! Edited March 9, 201115 yr by Karma

March 9, 201115 yr Tinie still at #11.. even with Wiz overtaking him, so he could actually go Top 10 this week if he continues to climb on iTunes & Mcfly climbing :D
