March 8, 201115 yr I don't have itunes on my work computer, sorry Check the iTunes thread then, all the information is there :) If not, http://www.livepopbars.com/index.php?Regio...44&Chart=34 will give you the latest iTunes chart also.
March 8, 201115 yr 2011 starts to remind me of 2007 chart-wise when downloads came to a full scale. Now there's a new chart shake-up: the on-air - on sale strategy which slows down the chart massively. I guess in 2-3 years record companies will try to minimise the gap between the release of the songs and their video premiers to get more high instant sales. Also, the actual TV etc. promo will go on full scale too just from the single release.
March 8, 201115 yr Is Hold It Against Me still top 40? Not top 40. If it creeps back into the top 40 this week, I'll list it in the update.
March 8, 201115 yr Author And Avril climbing again, now #20, what a slow burner!! Tracks like this used to climb a lot in the 80s, the 80s are back. :D
March 8, 201115 yr Avril is no.7! I'm not happy with that, hopefully it can creep into the top 5 by the end of the week.
March 8, 201115 yr Adele 6000 ahead of Jessie, iTunes gap much closer now but hopefully will be enough to hold on
March 8, 201115 yr Albums update added and a nice healthy singles and albums artist update for y'all. :)
March 8, 201115 yr Sorry but MW sucks. The evidence: "...the brand new REM album Collapse Into You fourth at this point in the week... Unless Collapse Into You’s status improves rapidly it will be the first REM studio album since Up in 1998 not to reach number one and the lowest charting since their introductory Warner Bros set Green reached 27 in 1988." Do they dislike REM? The vibe I get is so negative (and they couldn't get the title right)... Fourth place is good given the competition right now. Edited March 8, 201115 yr by SKOB
March 8, 201115 yr Wonder if Olly’s physicals are lurking somewhere just outside the top 40 in the chart, and they’ve therefore not been lumped together with his single version(s). That’s assuming he does have physicals this week?
March 8, 201115 yr Atlantic act Wiz Khalifa’s Black And Yellow is the highest new release showing on the chart, currently a place below in 14th spot another former Billboard Hot 100 number one, Till The World Ends by Britney Spears. The Sony release was 55 on last Sunday’s chart. Doesn't that suggest that Wiz is #13 and Britney is #14?

Plus they have the full Top 40 anyway. :P Edited March 8, 201115 yr by Doctor Blind

Although "Till the world ends" isn't a "former Billboard hot 100 number 1"
March 8, 201115 yr Could I have Glee's album position please? I'm expecting a bit of a drop from now... Also very pleased for Britney and Bruno ('Marry You')! Amazing. Jessie J only 6k behind Adele now too in the singles :D COME ON J-J-J-Jessie J-J! Reclaim back that number 1 position
March 8, 201115 yr Oh no please, no Jessie J back at the top, at least not with this song :o Is there anything big released next week to stop her ?
March 8, 201115 yr Author The Pierces will drop out I think And I have Olly's single as download only, no physical attached.
March 8, 201115 yr Oh no please, no Jessie J back at the top, at least not with this song :o Is there anything big released next week to stop her ?I believe The Wanted are released next week, with the Comic Relief single... Also, other contenders... Chipmunk feat. Keri Hilson - In The Air [Just depends on how it's received once it's debuted...] Lady Gaga - Born This Way* [Physical released?] Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath [Will surely be a high debut for her?] Parade - Louder* [This will shock. It's going to be bigger than people think/predict...] The Feeling - Set My World On Fire [Really, so soon? :drama:] The Wanted - Gold Forever*
