Next to leave is the title track from the album and one of the more stripped back moments. The song was the first one to be produced for the album and is considered as its "backbone". The song has received mixed reviews (as has been seen here too with it getting that mid-table realness) with its questionable lyrics, blurry production and with it being one of the slowest moments on the album. Still fans do enjoy it, and it was a fascinating number at the artRAVE. The real question is though, what does Artpop mean?

09. MANiCURE (19 votes, 50.00%)

10. Dope (11 votes, 33.33%)

11. Swine (7 votes, 33.33%)

12. Mary Jane Holland (5 votes, 31.25%)

13. Donatella (10 votes, 40.00%)

14. Fashion! (12 votes, 36.36%)

15. Jewels n' Drugs (ft. T.I., Too Short & Twista) [13 votes, 44.83%]

Take your own advice <_<

I don't know what to choose out of Venus and Applause.. I can't believe i haven't targetted the former yet, given i HATED it at the start but it's grown considerably now and is sometimes played in the club i go to so i have a very soft spot for it. Hmm guess i might have to vote 'Applause' but i'll mull over it for a bit before deciding ;o

Sad to see 'Artpop' go but still pleased it made it this far and, more importantly, beat 'MANiCURE'.

'Applause' is definitely the weakest. I too hated it at first before it gradually grew on me, but it is still quite comfortably Gaga's worst single to date and I hold it responsible for cursing the era before it properly began.

I meant 'Venus' :heehee: 'Applause' i have never hated, but past the first week of it premiering i have seen it as considerably below par. Easily her weakest single for me too (about the same as 'You & I', the two always switch for the wooden spoon for me).

Aura, I think. Eek. Everything remaining is GOOD so well done everyone~

Stop trying to make 'MANiCURE' happen. It's not going to happen. <_<

Oh yeah, I mis-read! :P I've always liked 'You & I' but it's probably near the bottom of rankings too given the usually really high standard of Gaga singles. In regards to 'Venus', I think I've always liked it but it's definitely grown further since. Probably helps that it's much more well-rounded than a lot of songs on this album. The chorus is rather glorious too.

Hmm it's probably going to be "Venus" this time isn't it judging by last round. :( But 7th / top half will be respectable for such a track.

I've voted for "Sexxx Dreams".

Sexxx Dreams for me too, not sure what people see in it though I find it 'decent', the chorus seems like it should be booming, but she sounds so tame and 'eh' in it.

So we can stop saying that 'Venus' is "underrated" now, right? RIGHT?

HOW is it still in? Ew.

Any last minute votes? It could all change (although i'm happy if it doesn't at this stage so feel free to ignore this bump) :heehee: Closing in ~10 mins.
