September 24, 200916 yr disappointing sales though an A list artists first greatest hits for years should be doing more than the 40k its done so far this week to be honest Remember it's not her first GH though. It's her 3rd, or 4th if you count Something To Remember as some chart-watchers are. First GH albums always do best, Beatles excepted of course. Immaculate Collection was a huge seller at Christmas 1990.
September 24, 200916 yr disappointing sales though an A list artists first greatest hits for years should be doing more than the 40k its done so far this week to be honest Watch it grow yday it sold more than Mon & Tue ( wed sales were nearly 13 k) so has increased daily sales. I recon by end of saturday sales will of hit 90-100k. To say its her 3rd G.Hits album & the fan feedback regarding track listing, its doing well so far. Seems the rest of the top 5 are selling low as well, so seems its a pretty slow week sales wise and Madonna is selling the most out of all the big releases this week. The TIC sales were there highest in Dec over 300k weeks leading upto xmas, so watch the sales increase nearer to the holiday season when hopefully Warners will bump up the PR around then to remind people this is a xmas must have  Edited September 24, 200916 yr by stevejb4u

I'd have released it in mid November and then it would have sold far more 1st week. Edited September 24, 200916 yr by Crazy Chris
September 24, 200916 yr thanks I think it'll fall to 16 by Sunday though :( Looks like all the Sugababes media frenzy has had no/little impact on their single or Jade's :(
September 24, 200916 yr Cant believe Britney is releasing another Greatest Hits album so soon after the last 1 its got a new track on it called 3 and is released Nov 23rd. Will this sell sooooo soon after the last 1???????
September 24, 200916 yr Looks like all the Sugababes media frenzy has had no/little impact on their single or Jade's :( They're on R1 tomorrow at 4pm so I expect that to make a difference.
September 24, 200916 yr Author is Im Not Your Toy - La Roux in the top 40 yet? *hopes* errr. No, otherwise it would have been listed
September 24, 200916 yr is Im Not Your Toy - La Roux in the top 40 yet? *hopes* LOL it's not even top 40 yet on itunes how could it be in the top 40 of the official chart?
September 24, 200916 yr Is the Mika album actually any good though? I loved his first and We Are Golden has suddenly grown on me. it's an OK album... not half as good as 'Life in cartoon motion' but still fine... Next singles 'Rain' and 'Blame it on the girls' are amazing .... 'Blue Eyes' is a fine track too....
September 24, 200916 yr I wouldn't call a Top 5 album a flop at all, in a week when there are some other big releases too. it's a huge flop compared to a million selling debut album, the comeback 2nd album should at least have gone in at number 1 and dropped fast.... single sales are weirdly low. Edited September 24, 200916 yr by Big Mistake

September 25, 200916 yr Good that the KoL songs have dropped slightly throughout the week. I love them and all but there's such a thing as overkill. Top 5 not looking too hideous for my 21st now. Shakira's in there and I'm really starting to love Jay-Z/Alicia Keys. The rest, however, is utter dirge.
September 25, 200916 yr Nice one Mr Peter Andre - moved up 3 places to No 5 - all those album signings this week are paying off
September 25, 200916 yr Great news for Madonna. Could you give any updates on any of her songs outside the Top 40.
