(Ballads tend to sell an album a whole lot better than uptempo'd stuff). I'm surprised 'Broken Heels' has helped the album as much as it has, and Simon seems to be very pleased with the album's sales so far, as I remember him saying she's done brilliantly (as have JLS) at one point on Xtra factor. So please, stop hating for the sake of hating. You can like more than ONE XFactor contestant! JEEZ!

Personally I think Alex is doing fine - the album is still selling and as opposed to having a massive peak and then dropping like a stone. Its selling consistently and whilst it would be nice for it to be top 10, its selling consistently. It would be more worrying for her if the album wasn't even top 40 with the promo she's getting. I think the total sales for the album will turn out to be extremely healthy, especially if The Silence is the 3rd single as its rumoured to be. No she hasn't sold as much as JLS, but JLS aren't selling in a competitive market as they have no real rivals. Alexandra is selling in a heavily populated market, as at the moment the music scene is dominated by strong female acts which probably has an effect on her sales as well.

It'll probably be tight between Iyaz and Owl this week but I think Iyaz will edge it as he was ahead for around half the week and he has/had 3 versions in the top 200. Owl will most likely be #1 next week though.

January 22, 201015 yr Alex is doing a promotional tour in Europe over the next two weeks promoting Bad Boys.She will be in Berlin,Germany later this evening as Bad Boys gets an itunes release on Friday.Here are the other itunes positions for Bad Boys.We just have to take our lumps with BH as long as it is pushing Overcome. Nevertheless, decent charting in Scandinavian countries looks promising. Breaking German top 10 would be an undeniable achievement for Alexandra. In Portugal, where I currently live, she already has some recognition. But wasn't she supposed to do well only in tje UK in the first place?

I say by saturday evening Owl will be twice as far ahead of him on itunes. How much does 'a few somewhere in the top 200' count for? Not a lot I'd imagine. I say Owl has got it.
