2nd.

They refused to move it up any higher because of their "audience research" following Happy.

3rd track

Stop Crying Your Heart Out

Wasn't a single so based on one TV performance hardly counts.

And the way it was received after that one performance suggests people really aren't that bored. :)

3rd "track" for what though?! It's track 10 if we're being picky.

She also performed Brave and Outta My Head in public so are we counting those?

To quote something you posted earlier:

"This is the third track and her current era's singles is not gone down well with the public."

That made it sound like you were referring to it as a single. And you can hardly say her "current era's single is not gone down well with the public" when there have only been two singles, "Happy" reached #2, and "I Got You" has only just been released [though it looks like it won't do that well, Radio 1 is probably to blame for not A-listing it]

Fantastic to see Wild Beasts finally playlisted on Radio 1....6 months f***ing late. Hooting and Howling deserved to go top 40 more than this.

Some decent additions, specifically Vampire Weekend's new track (with the star studded video, this could be their biggest single), Yeasayer and 30STM. Loving that Stornoway's made a second week as well.

Woo! I think this is the first of hers A-Listed this era. The gesture is nice, even if it's not going to make any difference to it selling. :(

No Cascada yet? :( When is that being released exactly? I thought it was about 3-4 weeks or so. Hopefully another number 1 for them!

Just listening to that Alex Gardener geezer, (on Rich's blog) and he's pants! Awful :( Nothing to do with his voice either - he's got a pleasent voice actually. I think it's more Xenomania tbh. They seem to have peaked now.

MEH at those additions though.

The loyalty of Radio 2 is amazing. Poor Bev Knight releases flop after flop, but they A list her regardless. Radio 1, on the other hand would sell their collective soul to be seen to be 'cool' by the 'kids'.

Great to see Leona and Haiti rubbish removed.

And Yeasayer added - one of the tracks of the year so far.

Lovely to see laura marling on the B-List too

It shows you that the song wasn't strong enough to get to B-list...

Beverly Knight has a loyal fanbase, still tours and still writes great music I do not think she has ever needed Radio 1 approval. The Radio 2 list is far superior anyway
Wild Beasts, fucking hell ! Vampire Weekend, Laura Marling, Stornoway and Yeasayer too :D. So few "landfill indie" bands make the playlist now compared to 3 years ago, maybe Band Of Skulls or Bombay Bicycle Club are at a push but it's mainly crossover stuff making it...

just heard that wild beasts song on utube there - wonderful stuff!!

One week behind!

At least it's listed now I guess.

least it will stall its fall on itunes and will hang around for a bit!!

well neither was You Me At Six's song that couldnt even reach the top40, and that is still A-listed.

it was able to reach the top 10 of the albums chart in jan though!

"I Got You" has only just been released [though it looks like it won't do that well, Radio 1 is probably to blame for not A-listing it]

Or the record company are to blame for releasing it when they have 'Outta My Head'.

No firm date for Cascada yet, just that its out 'early April' so I'd imagine its out 5th or 12th April. It'll be added within the next 2 weeks, I'd be completely shocked if they ignore it.
