March 10, 201016 yr Just heard Greg James. Helping Haiti crept back in at 40. Hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend and we can pretend it never happened.
March 10, 201016 yr Author oooh arrrr..... I do like the printable version, scroll down to the bottom and use the offending link to get your own Top 40 mid chart. Please do not post the full top 40 on here, most likely Radio 1 have got the copyright to it.
March 10, 201016 yr hopefully Cheryl can overtake Timbaland so when McClean overtakes her she'll still be top 10
March 10, 201016 yr Author What I've gone and done I've added the link to the appropriate update for today, on page 1 of the thread topic, members can use the link for the whole mid top 40, but I do must stress this do not post the mid top 40 chart on here.
March 10, 201016 yr How was the show done? He started off with Steve Aoki, a new entry, then 'Telephone', a climber, then McLean then Gabriella Cilmi and Justin Bieber and finally a rundown of the top 40 followed by 'Pass Out', the current #1.
March 10, 201016 yr Mumford & Sons have climbed to #26 (!) on iTunes - could they possibly get a second top 30 hit in the next few weeks?
March 10, 201016 yr "The Family Jewels" dropped 3 places in the album chart since yesterday :( Bought it today from Morrisons - doubt it'll have much effect, though Quick couple of questions - does it matter that my receipt lists it as "CD [insert number here]" instead of it's title? Also, do all major retailers (like Morrisons) submit sales figures to the charts company, or would it only be stores the specialize in music & stuff, like HMV?
March 10, 201016 yr It looks to me like Robbie could have his first single to fail the top 40 in his career :o Not overally suprising as it's nowhere near his best song. I think there is a big mistake that there was no physical release. Which is curious, as there is one for Germany. But Germany seems to be now his best market. Who would have thought that Depeche Mode and Robbie will have something in common ? (LOL, for the record Depeche Mode and Take That do have something in common: same producent for the last solo album of Owen and for the last DM album  )

Morrisons lists it that way for stock purposes. It's what the cd is stored as on the EPOS system, and the data will be transmitted to the OCC with artist/title details fully in tact. There isn't enough room for the full title on the receipt and a specific number lets Stores/Head office know precisely which CD/DVD has been sold, and comes in handy for returns and making sure that the CD being returned is that one. i.e. CD: Glee Cast - The Music, Series 1 Vol.. £9.97 could be any one of the first series soundtracks, but CD 5871 £9.97 traces back exactly.

Given that the information is in the public domain I see no reason why it can't be posted. Anyone can view it for free, if the OCC or whoever didn't want people to see it they wouldn't release it...

Anyone can view it for free, if the OCC or whoever didn't want people to see it they wouldn't release it... I was going to say the same thing, it's only the same as posting the official top 75 on here on a Sunday night, it's already been aired on the radio, it's just regurgitated information now...
March 10, 201016 yr Author I never thought of it that way, I just don't want to give a reason for OCC to contact us.

Thanks for that :D I'll be buying a good few CDs from Morrisons in the future I expect, and good to know that they will certainly count
March 11, 201016 yr Though Cilmi would be higher :S I think it's doing very well considering it's not been playlisted by Radio 1. It's nearly matched the peak of Sweet About Me, and don't forget that climbed for many weeks.
