that craze transferred over here with the Holly Valance cover

LOVE all of those songs, apart from Sex Bomb, which was cringe :drama:

im wondering if UK public was aware it that was a cover from turkish hit.

Cool, I also popularised Gigi D'Agostino before he flopped on his arse about three times in the early 2000s...

It was never properly released though. Find it weird how he became huge in Ireland but never crossed over to the UK.

DJ Encore - I See Right Through To You was set to become a UK top20 before it was disqualified. So pissed about that.

Sugababes' "Sweet 7" debuts at #14 on albums with over 11K sold.

 F**king amazing!!

Haha! I remember people singing these songs all the time:

Vengaboys - Boom

Jlo - Waiting For Tonight

Tom Jones & Mousse T - Sex Bomb (this was massive lol)

French Affair - My Heart Goes Boom

Eiffel 65 - Blue

Tarkan - Simarik (all we ever did was the "kiss kiss part")

Daddy DJ - Daddy DJ

I used to love this, I was 7 at the time and I heard this everywhere- it just reminds me of my childhood, thats why its one of my all-time favourites

I also loved Lou Bega (and Bob the Builders version  ) and DJ Otzi, ah! I loved the late 90s/early 00s in music

Thank god they didn't play that awful Boyzone song. Don't mind 'Don't Stop Believin' :heehee:

Funny how Portugal is on the other side of Europe and we got hits from everywhere. Mostly because our #1 national station was eurodance and europop obsessed that they dictacted pretty much all the hits over here, and spreaded them over to other national and regional stations. Unfortunately it ended in summer 2003 and was replaced with an R&B station, that now is pretty much like Kiss/Galaxy.

Why was it disqualified?

Why - having got it so right with the presentation of the midweek chart - are Radio 1 still f***ing it up with the Sunday show????
I wish Journey would just f*** off. Why???????????????????? :banghead:

Loved that, bought it on single - I was also gutted, great song.

Addy - it was mentioned in the media quite heavily about Kiss Kiss being a Tarkan cover, but the original was never released here.

'Gave It All Away' will more than likely climb next week. Seeing as their "tribute" show is on tonight, after DOI semi's
