Well out of all the footie tracks, I never expected K'naan to get top 5 to be honest, that has really surprised me, its actually the best of all the footie tracks, I would prefer Wavin' Flag at #1 instead of Shout.

Please don't remind me of those AWFUL Elvis reissues :(

Actually, #1s are generally $h!t I have decided

They weren't that bad. Hopefully we will get some Michael Jackson re-issues at the end of June. :kink:

As for #1s being $h!t, I can kinda empathise with that. There have been lots of novelty records at #1. :(

#2s are better me thinks. S.O.S, Unfaithful, '03 Bonnie & Clyde, Cry Me A River, all the rest of Rihanna's songs  etc.

Love Alicia but please don't overtake the X-rated $l*t. :kink: [/joke]

 @ Miley .

Looks like Alicia could end up #1 on Sunday, depends how close the sales are between the top 2 albums.

Still surprised at DizzJames been at #2, I would have expected he caught up with Tinie by now, I guess Tinie has got the advantage of the 3 days sales ahead of the Shout track. I should imagine they be #1 over the weekend

^ Yeah I thought Dizz/James would be ahead by now too.

Looking at it logically though; Dizz/James pop bars are about x2.9 the size of Tinie's. (including his multiple versions).

Assuming Tinie sold 1 "unit" per day on Wednesday and Thursday, that would give Dizz/James 5.8 units of pop bars sales from Wednesday and Thursday.

Tinie will have had 2 units from Wednesday and Thursday, and at least 3 units from Sunday-Tuesday (however each "unit" on Sunday-Tuesday will be higher than "1" - e.g. "1.33" or "1.5" given the front loading of the track that happens immediately following its release).

Therefore I'd put Tinie marginally ahead right now (probably on about 6 to 6.5 "units", or 2%-10% ahead) therefore Dizz/James will almost certainly be #1 on Sunday unless Dizz/James pop bars miraculously collapse ...

Oh MILEY

The greatest news of the week

13 is known to be a very unlucky number eventhough 11 seems to be for Miley, imagine 2 weeks at 13  I hope Pixie gets higher than 13 by Sunday :D

Check the sympathy in this thread for Miley.I do feel for her it is like some sort of Disney curse.Hoping she will be at 11 tomorrow.Alex B's new advert for Sure will be out tomorrow it uses All Night Long hope it can start to climb back up.

Miley is falling on itunes so how could she climb officially?

Also Pixie will probably be #12/#11 by sunday as she is now #8 on itunes, but she wont make top 10 officially.

Where is derulo IN THE CHART (as you have to be very specific as some members attempt to be funny).

Looks like we'll be getting a football infested top 40- K'naan is far the best out of all of them and I hope eventually he overtakes Dizzee and Corden (although in terms of sales thats impossible :( )

tbh I can see Pixie and Ke$ha overtaking Miley- shame as it wont be as funny now, although its still pretty hilarious

I hope Frisky holds on, but I think Shout will overtake over the weekend, especially as the world cup starts today

Ahh yes I forgot about the Sure advert.

Hopefully it will benefit ANL like it did The Sats' Ego.

I'm not so surprised that Tinie is still number-one. It's like when Florence and Dizzee's track got released on iTunes halfway through the week, but it was beating Everybody Hurts and Empire State of Mind like 5:2, but it took a long time for it to get to #2 in the official chart.

All the new entries are football related apart from Tinie Tempah this week, 2 of those are re-entries for B&S/LS and England/New Order
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Alicia Keys returns to no. 1 in the album chart following her performance on last nights World Cup concert shown on BBC2. Looks like it's also helped K'naan as he performed too and I'm really happy to see he's now no. 2 on iTunes.

Gutted for Miley, really wanted her to get her 4th #11. Really happy for K'naan, great track but FAR too many versions of the song.

Wouldn't surprise me if Alicia overtakes Xtina, great performance last night. Hope Shakira's Waka Waka can break top 40 this week. Really don't want Dizzee/Corden to stay top for long, hopefully their sales will plummet next week or at least by the 28th.
