Westlife Record: 25 consecutive top 10 singles!! Btw westlife were in the op 3 in physical singles, so its the damn new rules that have pushed them down!

Oh no, let's go back to the old method where sales are pitifully low and completely unrepresentative of the state of the nation's music.

Why does it have a video? Was just performed on T4 Stars of 2010 too.

It was performed at that MOBOs too. But seriously, how many album tracks have charted that high on their first week? There's Blah Blah Blah, but that was getting a lot of airplay by then. Love the Way You Lie is the highest of all-time, I believe. #22 is really good. It's as high as his current single peaked.

I wonder if weslife will "EVER" get another uk no.1 hit??

No, they never will thanfkully. The fact they had 14 of them is an absolute joke. They're just glorified karaoke singers.

Those 'damn new rules' have been around for ages and Westlife managed a no.2 out of them last year.

The 'damn new rules'?

They had no problem getting to #2 with What About Now a good 2 years into the digital era -_- Westlife have failed because it's a boring song (as usual) which has had little promotion and practically no airplay. Get over it.

its an original westlife song yes! and we are talking about consecutive top 10, not in total!

i wonder how many singles they will release from the new album thouggh??most decent artists release on ave 3 but if westlife release another one it will struggle to get top 20 so they want to keep their silly chart record in tact so they wont release another one!!

10 surely... not 02

Yeah its 10, and their list of consecutive #1s at the beginning of their career is incredible!

Quite a chart history for Westlife :o

Safe still is the worst performing lead single they've ever released, having said that, 25 top 10 singles and 14 number 1s is VERY impressive

I do kinda like Safe  but it is too typical of Westlife though

Good point. "Us Against the World" only got to #8 when sales were a lot lower, they need one of the members to die to keep the record going really.

It seems Westlife are not Safe in the top 10 for another week :D
