Far East Movement scream 'One Hit Wonder' to me, yes they have an album but Owl City did too and their follow up single missed the top 100.

Anyway I love the song!

Yeah, I think Far East Movement could be a one hit wonder (although I hope they're not, if they can keep making songs as fantastic as Like a G6).

I think Vanilla Twilight went top 100 though, as an album track, which is weird that it charted higher than their 2nd single.

A green-eyed beauty with a sultry voice, Rihanna was discovered as a teenager on her island home of Barbados, and quickly signed with the venerable Def Jam records. Powered by a Soft Cell sample, her infectious dancehall/Caribbean single "Pon de Replay," from her album the MUSIC OF THE SUN, became the summer jam of 2005, peaking at number two on the charts. By 2006 she had become a worldwide sensation, and her second album, A GIRL LIKE ME, went platinum, boosted by a Nike ad song, guest appearances on ALL MY CHILDREN, and a film part in BRING IT ON: ALL OR NOTHING. Further success followed with 2007's double platinum GOOD GIRL GONE BAD, which spawned the all conquering "Umbrella" - topping the UK singles chart for ten weeks in the summer of that year. - HMV

I would sales between numbers 2, 3 and 4 are quite close, i would say ellie is 3, take that 2 and jls 1 although i would love a take that number 1 but its highly highly highly unlikely the flood will do that now.

Far*East Movement I agree will probably be a one hit wonder.

I think Alexis Jordan has the potential to sustain her star.

It's really too early to be judging one-hit wonders? After their first song has just charted?

Only Girl (In The World)

Glad it got two weeks at #1 :D

She needs to really "Bring It" with the 2nd single

Ideal top 3 now would be

03 Jls

02 Ellie

01 Take That

but im sure it will be

03 Ellie

02 Take That

01 Jls

Exactly

Well done to Ellie for beating the peak of 'Starry Eyed' ^_^

I hope it gets to #1 at some point! 'Your Song' is really good

(18) Rihanna-What's My Name

This record sounds like Rihanna is guest starring in a Drake rather than the opposite way around.

The inevitable question for the chart anoraks then: When was the last all ballad top 3?

And also, HURRAH at that, I love a good ballad and they've been practically non-existent in the top end of the charts in the last few years.

Ellie just missed number 2 then- will definitely be there next week though :D

I really love this version of this song now, its beautiful     and she gets her highest charting single yet :D
