Seven Summers' (the band he was in pre-XF) self titled album is really good! Just downloaded the zip file and listening now - I'm on track 4!

He wasn't singing as well as he was in the first few weeks. He had been ill in week 8/9 and it was still affecting his voice.

He can sing brilliantly.

 

Precisely. Cut the guy some slack - he was coughing his way through all of his interviews today.

 

Biffy Clyro aren't that great anyway.

Good for Matt looking at huge sales this week easily 500k plus.I do wonder about his long term potential and the Syco curse regarding male winners.I get the feeling that Cowell will pour more time and energy into Mime Direction.I imagine Matt and Simon will be clashing before long.

I love SS album - especially Youngblood and Paved Paradise - Matt`s voice is fantastic on every track. It`s currently at No 1 in Amazon download chart.

Well I for one am not overly fussed about the song. He does alright on it but I don't think the song was good to start with however Matt in my eyes was a very deserving winner and I for one am looking forward to what releases. Hope it's great so the public support it

Good for Matt it is the only way he can get both good management and be assured of some longevity.

I really hope Matt doesn't flop and proves that a male winner can be successful too, he's too talented not to :( (also to silence the people who are instantly writing him off due to his gender)

He should definitely be topless (and possibly wet/sweaty) on his Single/Album cover, that'd help sales :heehee:

It would make me buy at least 3 copies of it :kink:
