They'll say stuff like "Cowell's ordered the OCC to do this" and "what does the OCC know?"

Seems the Facebook campaign is been investigated for multi-buyng  talk about shooting themselves in the foot. They could really disqualify the track from charting. What a batch of eejits.

I don't think the OCC will EVER disqualify a track for multi buying. Did it ever happen in the past?

I remember last year lots of complains were adressed to the OCC regarding Rage Against the Machine. The Facebook page of the campaign were full of messages advertising multi buying, giving links to free downloads that would count, etc. And in the end the OCC didn't do anything. So there's no chance at all they disqualify a track this Christmas (as much as I'd like it to happen).

Please, lets forget the Trashmen (I prefer the Ramones version anyways). I was only trying to point out in my earlier posts as to why people feel the need to react aginst yet another X factor No1. Maybe I wasnt clear enough or maybe it would help if you read through my posts again without focusing on the trashmen campaign.

I do apologise, it was a reasonable assumption to make based on your post that you had visited the group atleast because offering free downloads to Matt's group was one of the "genius" ideas on there as well as "hiding Matt's CD"

you were basically suggesting that it's Matt's saturated coverage that will get him number one but how did Rage manage to overcome it without a single performance last year. It can be done, the level of anti x factor feeling just isn't strong enough this year, I bet even if you add up all the campaigns, still won't be close enough to x factor, many people as I said feel it was job done last year and there's no need to campaign again.

You also mentioned earlier about denying other artists, the surfin bird campaign is doing just that and again as pointed out before, nobody is forcing people to buy the x factor they are doing it of choice, it is the campaign groups spamming left right and centre begging people to buy it.

 They've made their own midweeks: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=155...134615893253740

even any "normal" person wouldn't believe them (going by yesterday's spreadsheet figures if they were true) - Matt Cardle is still stuck on 166k despite having a sizeable lead on ITunes and his phyiscal CD release yesterday, Biffy Clyro have lost 1.3k sales despite being No5 for most of the day yesterday on ITunes and BEP have somehow found about 50k sales in one day despite being stuck behind Biffy until later in the day

surprised somebody actually said they were still No3 though, guess you had to make it realistic and not say Bird was about 300k ahead. I can't see any disqualifying for "multibuying" but I'd disqualify the track because it's a pile of rubbish if it was me and of course because of the meltdown it would cause

What if we just say their #1 in the midweeks? lmao. they'd believe it as well to be honest.
i dont understand why some people just cant admit defeat theyre gonna struggle to overtake rihanna never mind matt clearly they have nothing better to do with their lives than make up their own statistics and insult the people who correct them

They've blatantly said it's 3 because that's what it says here, only not to dampen the spirits of everyone they've made up a few figures so they're still within reach and despite the obvious mistakes and their assumptions that midweeks don't exist, now they've seen something a little favourable they're more than happy to believe that.

Somebody with WAY too much time on their hands, blatantly copied the style of the guy who showed them the spreadsheet yesterday. Bless them, their desperation shows no bounds, I can't see what the Cardle figure says on my iPod, what does it say?

I have never laughed so much in my life, so many potholes in those sales figures, even a chart expert could tell its a full blown fake. Sheer lunacy, they simply don't get it.

Anyhow I'm hoping MW will write up another sales report, as Matt's track now is out on physicals. I can't remember if we had a second sales report for Joe last year around this time, just have to wait and see.

Haven't bought Matt yet but might do now seeing he lost 1 sale yesterday lollol

I think so many of you are stressing yourselves out for no reason, and for who?. Matt Cardle, whose boss has signed up 3 other acts just so he won't have to solely deal with him as he'll most certainly flop come October 2011.

This must be Rihanna's most successful era ever. How amazing.

I was trying to point out the Matt group that they were paying money for old rope, what with it being a cover of a track only recently available. Maybe I feel that we as a whole are being scammed by Cowell. And that possibly the general public are somewhat brainwashed by X factor into believing that its a fair representation of what music is.

I agree, the money being spent on Surfin Bird downloads & the energy behind the campaign would be way better used in supporting an up & comming more deserving artist/s.

FAIL

I'm almost certain if anyone points that out to them it would be "Shut up meg!"

thing is look at them all lapping it up! Too funny

love the guy who says they were before the mflow downloads, as far as I know they came out yesterday afternoon so when exactly does he think they were compiled!

Has anyone pointed out the glaring obvious flaws?

I really hope we get the real data later, how ironic that after days of official chart figures called fake, they are actually believing something that IS 100% fake

will be well worth a look on Saturday and Sunday I guarantee they will have "insiders" informing them it's "neck and neck" and just a few more will do it

Did no music week subscribers receive those figures? How very odd!

Has nobody called the actual fake figures "fake" yet? Unbelievable, goes to show they will blindly believe if it's good but it's fake if it's bad. Not planning on retracting my they are deluded statement yet :cheer:

They've blocked me from their page!!

 at those 'figures'- so Matt only sold 1k yesterday, Trashmen sold 64k, and BEPs having just been behind Ellie yesterday are now 38k ahead?!

I seriously hope the song gets pulled, would serve them all right

Alexandra at #33 with The Silence and #31 with her Deluxe album, massive drops. :o Loved her performance on Alan Titchmarsh.

KOL, JLS and Susan Boyle not selling as much as their debuts but again doing really well still. :)

Willow #9, a big drop from #2!

Biffy Clyro album back up to #34, X Factor really boosted that right back up.

Robbie #6! Whats the total of that album?

Olly murs #5, wow! So happy rihanna #2 too on both  Loud will have huge sales this week.

Firework up to #11. :)

Tinie Tempah & Kelly Rowland up two and should be higher by Sunday
