Haha guys they can't take any form of fact, I told them very kindly earlier that the midweek sales update revealed they were still behind Rihanna and ergo they had no chance of beating Matt and they told me:

 

1. I was lying because the midweeks sales information doesn't come out until radio 1 announce it

2. There was 'no way I could have access to those figures'

3. I was something too vile to post.

4.There was categorically no way they were still behind Rihanna, they were closing in on number 1

5. And I was a meg

6. There won't be any figures tomorrow because midweeks are only on a Wednesday, so anyone who goes to them with midweek information tomorrow, will get it in the neck (do it! Especially if the figures are damning!)

Thye just chuck out insults at anyone who dares to challenge them with the hard facts, there was even a response to a quote from Martin Talbot (you know the DIRECTOR of the Official Chart Company) saying how Matt was way out in front and Rihanna was it's closest challenger along the lines of "What the hell does he know?!" :lol:

Technically they're not free, as they put £1 credit on your account for free. The download itself is paid for by mflow, if that makes sense.

 

It's a lost cause though. Less than 1 in every 17 people who joined the Facebook group have made a purchase. Then again less than 1 in every 120 people who watched the X-Factor final have bought Matt's single :kink:

Not that I'm upset about it or anything like that (I did support the RATM campaign to begin with) but the manner in which they won and then gloated about it afterwards and that it was a fair fight was ridiculous. As someone said on here last year, it was as clear-cut as a Zimbabwe election.

They just cannot believe that mere mortals like us can have access to sales figures so obviously we're making them up just to spite them.

 

Seriously though, if they only added 10K since yesterday than surely the vast majority of that group aren't buying or some of the more outrageous multi downloading has been chalked off

The thing is, when Matt's physicals are added tomorrow, they have no chance, there isn't a physical format for Surfin Bird so how can it go to #1 its so far lagging behind, how/where are they going to recouperate those sales from, if they can't face facts and figures than they are far deluded than a wooden thick plank. They can't see the end of their noses without picking it.

Matt's physical has been avaliable since Monday, apparently.
