August 23, 201113 yr Just watched A Good Man GOes To War again. Lorna Bucket has to come back  Especially with a water based name :kink:
August 24, 201113 yr Author Episodes 12 and 13 titles have been announced as 'Closing Time' and 'The Wedding of River Song'.
August 25, 201113 yr Doctor Who and Nazis. I have been waiting for this scenario for so many years. 2 things I am worryingly obsessed by. Both for very different reasons. I know the Daleks are basically Nazis but these will be the 'real' thing and I hope so hope the episode doesn't shy away too much from highlighting the horrific nature of their history.

I read that the episode itself doesn't focus too much on Hitler and it's more of just a backdrop whilst it focuses on wrapping up a lot of stuff from the last episode...
August 27, 201113 yr Decided to try and watch this after giving up a couple of series ago...literally only lasted about 10 minutes before I was ridiculously confused! Looks like I'll be giving up again.
August 27, 201113 yr How many times does each character have to be on the brink of death? River Song/Melody Pond, Mels, Amy, Rory and the Doctor almost died this episode!
August 27, 201113 yr I liked this one for the simple fact it tried its best to answer questions and didn't really set any new ones. At the least, I'm less confused than just after the end of A Good Man Goes To War. Hopefully more of this. Â
August 27, 201113 yr I thought it was decent, but a bit of a let down from the amazing first set of episodes. It started off very poorly but picked up once Alex Kingston appeared (naturally), but once again it felt like it posed more questions than it answered. Although it was nice to see some fleshing out of River's back story.
August 27, 201113 yr It was a wonderfully silly start. The idea of the Doctor foiling a plot to assassinate Hitler was genius  Every series needs some silliness as well as a convoluted plot.
August 27, 201113 yr I just couldn't get round the episode for once, probably because I just hate Matt Smith as the Dr, I feel this series is kinda flat to my liking.
August 27, 201113 yr I loved it myself. I didn't think Alex Kingston could get any more camper but apparently I was wrong, she's far too fabulous for her own good frankly. Like everyone else, I was rather confused and we were posed with more questions than answers but I thought it was a decent episode on the whole.
August 27, 201113 yr just caught up with this (the week I have no life, I actually GO OUT when I have something to watch :drama: ) and I thought it was great myself, but a lot to take in :o the Hitler section added humour to an otherwise very gripping storyline - looking forward to this series now! :D Edited August 27, 201113 yr by C.W
August 27, 201113 yr I don't know what to think really. It was a good episode, but something about it made me sad. I don't know, perhaps I didn't like seeing River before she was the River we knew. Can't put my finger on it.
August 27, 201113 yr Author As most people have already said, I found it incredibly confusing, and a lot to take in in just 50 minutes. I really liked the Mels character though, so would've liked to have seen more of her - yet another shock that passed me by before it happened, though, with her regenerating into River.
August 27, 201113 yr Words can't describe how much I enjoyed the episode. I was just on the edge of my seat the entire time. Plus Alex Kingston is amazing.
August 27, 201113 yr I have to say that I really didn't think it was all that amazing. I didn't find it particularly confusing but did think that it was too rushed. The whole story with the robot thing was flawed... if they only turn up to sentence the guilty party to hell at the end of their lifeline (hence why they didn't kill Hitler as they said it was still too early) then it wouldn't have been the correct time to get River Song either as she would have clearly had a lot more of her lifeline left before she supposedly killed the doctor in years to come. (Oh and the next episode looks horrible!)

August 27, 201113 yr Which one was Fear Her? I hate clowns and evil toys. :( Fear Her was the one set during London 2012 on a really boring estate. And a crazy picture-drawing girl. One can only hope that this one is better. Â
