Surely Matt's sales will collapse this week? I know that usually happens the week after the Christmas chart but Christmas was only yesterday. Either way, I expect it'll be a close run.

Sorry, I've only just arrived. Is this the official year-end top 40? I was surprised to hear OMG playing when I tuned in. :lol:

Hope Love The Way You Lie hangs on. I don't actually *love* either of the top two but it would be much more interesting/reflective of the crap nothingy #1's we've had in 2010 to see a #2 top the end of year chart :D

well love the way you lie is back upto number 28 on itunes, and matt has been knocked off number 1 by rihanna. i would say love the way you lie will hold on if there is another week to add of sales for this year.

Don't worry I controlled everything, it was though a bit difficult at the start to post the whole chart from 11-40 :lol:

Can someone explain what's going on? Why are Radio 1 playing the year-end top 40, but everybody here is acting like it isn't the year-end top 40. Sorry, I'm so confused. I've only just arrived. :lol:

 

Shocked to see Katy B #4 only! :o But I don't mind, since it's Rihanna and the BEPs that overtook her. :)

But Matt will have another big week for physical sales, as New Year sales shopping is going to be massive. With that said, LTWYL should have a good sales week, as the year's big hits always do in the last week of the year - I can see it making top 20 and selling about 25K, which could be decisive. I think Eminem/Rihanna will just sneak it by 10-20K.

Glad The Flood only fell one place! :D Hope it doesn't collapse now in the new year like it had started to do before X Factor performance 2.0!
