January 2, 201115 yr I wonder if Jessie J will go top ten officially? This song is such a grower and the video is great.
January 2, 201115 yr This song sounds like it's a pop version of "Use Sombody." It's such a rip-off production wise that it's not funny. indeed, the wanted are one of the random 2010 sucess stories.remember when the made no1 i had never heard of them or the song, it literally came out of no-where!! also this new single is play literally on every music channel i turn to on mtv these past 3 weeks, surprised its not no1!!
January 2, 201115 yr still not really feeling this- its so chavvy :( although it will be interesting to hear her new material
January 2, 201115 yr 17 (from 20) McFly Feat. Taio Cruz - Shine A Light [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/2755713.JPG Chart Run: 4-9-15-15-19-24-20-17 [8 wks] Release date: 08-11-2010 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 2755713 Label: Island UK pop quartet McFly burst on to the chart scene with a fresh twist on the boy band formula, they played their instruments! They wrote their own material! Lead vocalist and chief songwriter Tom Fletcher originally tried out for Busted, but when he was beaten to the position by Charlie Simpson the band's management held further auditions to form a new outfit centred around him. The links between the two bands were cemented when Fletcher contributed material for Busted b-sides, and the two bands toured together in 2003. The invaluable exposure from the tour helped push McFly's debut single, "5 Colours In Her Hair" to the top of the UK singles chart where it was promptly joined by debut full length ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR. Follow-up effort, WONDERLAND, matched that achievement and in 2006 they moved into the movies, starring alongside Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan in the film JUST MY LUCK. - HMV Video here: mtib5yRF_QQ Chart history (Year peak title): McFly 2004 01 5 Colours In Her Hair 2004 01 Obviously 2004 03 That Girl 2004 05 Room On The 3rd Floor 2005 01 All About You / You've Got A Friend 2005 01 I'll Be OK 2005 03 I Wanna Hold You 2005 09 Ultraviolet / The Ballad Of Paul K 2006 01 Don't Stop Me Now / Please Please 2006 01 Star Girl 2006 03 Sorry's Not Good Enough / Friday Night 2007 01 Baby's Coming Back / Transylvania 2007 03 The Heart Never Lies 2008 02 One For The Radio 2008 04 Lies 2008 18 Do Ya / Stay With Me 2010 06 Party Girl 2010 04 Shine A Light (McFly Feat. January 2, 201115 yr Late today as I've been travelling from Wrexham to Cardiff. Just want to mention that I'm glad at P!nk's massive climb. People say its one of her weaker songs, but in terms of quality its still miles ahead of most of the rest of the chart.
January 2, 201115 yr Oh actual SHOCK. McFly have been around the chart for ages. Do ya'll guys think Rihanna will snatch the number one from Matt Cardle?
January 2, 201115 yr McFly in climbing the chart shocker! The other week they were 24 and climbed to 21
January 2, 201115 yr this is having ridiculous longevity, I know its in a climate where most songs climb- but it really has held up well :o Do ya'll guys think Rihanna will snatch the number one from Matt Cardle? his physicals will most likely keep him ahead for this week at least Edited January 2, 201115 yr by chart wizard
January 2, 201115 yr Ah Shine a Light, the moment when McFly finally gave up the pretence that they are a 'real' group and just admitted (via song) that they're nothing but a glorified boyband.

January 2, 201115 yr Author The other week they were 24 and climbed to 21 McFly in climbing the chart twice shocker!
January 2, 201115 yr Mcfly back inside the 20 and at 17  :yahoo: :cheer: They were #20 last week - there was an error in the published chart, 'Heroes' should have actually been #22 so N-Dubz, JLS, McFly and Jessie J were all bumped up a place
January 2, 201115 yr I bought "Cooler than Me" with my Christmas iTunes voucher, which in hindsight wasn't a good decision given that it was because of the awesome final 30 seconds of the song, with the dual synth solo. In my defense though, I was incredibly drunk.
