That could make sense, except I think Gaga is trying to include as many people as possible with that statement, yet there's just too many people that love neither of those things, and likewise, too many people that love both of those things.

And that just sums up the joy of music really, doesn't it?

We can all get what we like out of some music, by interpreting it in our own way.

 

It also makes a good case for artists never explaining what they mean, and just leaving it to our own interpretations.
