Wow, these sales are amazing. :o Didn't the likes of Roll Deep and Usher get to #1 with about 40K last year?

WOOOO! I'm so happy for Nicole  she deserves #1 :D

Nice sales too! 98k :o

So so pleased for Nicole not even a fan but she at least sings live, is a good performer and Adele has been No 1 for far too long.
Shocked that Nicole actually has a solo UK #1 to her name :o Who thought that the same woman who launched her career with the ridiculously underwhelming Baby Love would 4 years later command an 100k sale at the top of the charts!?!
Genuinely shocked that it only managed number 3, I'm sick to death of Adele and the over hyping of her career. Yes she can sing beautifully, but we don't need reminding every minute on the radio and we certainly don't need "Someone Like You" at number-one for a fifth consecutive week.

Yeah, it was annoying, especially after the BRITs performance. For a couple of weeks, everytime they'd talk about Adele on the radio, the presenters would always kind of do that thing where their voice goes really low and hushed, as if they have a lot of respect for her. It was like that on most radio stations, and I kept thinking it's a bit over-dramatic.

They've calmed down a bit now though.

Ah, I see. Yeah, Love the Way You Lie ended up to #7 or #8 in the year-end charts for US, Canada and Europe, because they're all compiled by Billboard, and songs released later in the year are at a severe disadvantage in those charts.

So Love the Way You Lie is probably the best-selling song of the decade in the world so far! :o

:cheer: Yeh probably. The problem with Media traffic is that it incorporates airplay when compiling the worldwide chart aswell.

Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna

Aftermath / Interscope - 8.260.000 points

So it might actually have more sales than that.

Anyways, I'M SO HAPPY THAT NICOLE GOT HER 1ST SOLO #1!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:

Fantastic for Nicole, love 'Don't Hold Your Breath'.
Glad Nicole is #1 hope The Wanted can climb next week!
Congratulations are definitely in order, it's a great song and I wish Nicole all the best as she pursues her solo career. Wonder now whether the album will get a decent position, could it also knock Adele off?

Yes good to see Nicole at No1. Her first solo No1 and third in total including the 2 from the Pussycat Dolls.

A good run at No1 from Adele. though. She's still got the 1-2 in the albums chart. How many artists can say that?

Ok, a reminder for a few of you (NickF1 especially) - NO SPOILERS PLEASE.

It's not complicated.

Glad The Wanted missed out on the top but more importantly still sold enough sales to save lives in Africa.
This still seems like the most random #1 ever. I bet it falls even quicker than Kesha...
Wow, these sales are amazing. :o Didn't the likes of Roll Deep and Usher get to #1 with about 40K last year?

Roll Deep and David Guetta both got #1 on 50,000 last year, I think. And Dynamite would've done, except Just the Way You Are got released early and prevented that.

Usher got low sales at #1 I think, but it was more like 60,000, and to be fair, that spent 4 weeks at #2, so that was fair enough.

Shocked that Nicole actually has a solo UK #1 to her name :o Who thought that the same woman who launched her career with the ridiculously underwhelming Baby Love would 4 years later command an 100k sale at the top of the charts!?!

Baby Love was a good track ;) Her first solo single was Whatever U Like though

Wonder now whether the album will get a decent position, could it also knock Adele off?

I highly doubt that it'll knock Adele off the top spot. I think she'll be there for another couple of weeks. ^_^

Great song knocks Adele off #1 :D

GREAT STUFF!!!!!!
