California Gurls was #1 year end last year and it was released in May, Love The way you lie was released in June. Tik Tok by Ke$ha was year-end #1 in the US last year, and that was released late 2009. :unsure: You might be thinking of Canada, because California Gurls was year-end #1 there.

I hope it gets to number one as its for charity and its much better than The Wanted - even though it'll obviously be a non-number one. March 20, 201115 yr Great to see Wiz Khalifa at number 6, in the midweeks it had dropped to number 8. I see it getting another 2/3 weeks in the top 10, which should do sales quite nicely, although an album is supposedly dropping soon; meaning his follow-up single won't do half as well. I'm refusing to listen to any of future singles so that it'll surprise me when Tom Deacon (likely) play it. People, just because The Wanted are in the studio, doesn't mean they'll get number-one - most recently Chipmunk was in the studio for a while and came up second and I also recall Sugababes having a similar situation. I'd rather Scherzinger get it, although if they do get it I can be pleased knowing it's going to charity.

I remember purposely not reading anything about the single before listening to it, to form my own opinion, and I was sat there listening to it thinking that it reminded me of a song. I then realised it was 'Express Yourself' and Googled it to see if anyone else had noticed it. Turns out that I wasn't alone in my thoughts. :kink: Plus the video is horrific. :puke2:
