A fifth single? Hmm, I'm not too sure, fifth singles don't really do the best in the charts. But then again, ET has done amazingly well and that was the forth. As long as Katy does lots of promotion. Anyway, one of the best on the album, along with Circle the Drain and One That Got Away! :wub:

I think this has a pretty good chance of getting to 1 in the US, probably the most likely song to go to 1 off of the remaining unreleased tracks. Hope this is true! :wub:

E.T did really well, but it DID have a Kayne West remix and a massive video. LFN probably won't have such a big video and I doubt she'll cash in another rapper for it.

 

I can see it going at #9 or something in the US but stalling at #11 here in the UK (always happens). Either way it's going to end several of her streaks (4 #1's in US and NZ, and 4 top 3's in the UK). I doubt it'll sell that much albums either.

Oh :mellow: I do like it, and it's a 10/10 moment for me but I don't think a fifth single is a good idea. It won't go top 5 anywhere tbh, probably 7/8 in the US and miss the top 10 in the UK. Plus if I'd have had the choice, I'd have chosen Hummingbird Heartbeat or The One That Got Away, though tbh TD is such a strong album all the tracks bar Who Am I Living For (still an 8.5/10 imo :o) would work as singles I think!

As much as I love this song, I think it's a very unwise decision to release anything else off this album. It's done fantastically well worldwide, and as shadow said, it's going to ruin her streaks. :(

I'm with you on that one, she's had four number one singles from one album which is an INCREDIBLE achievement. It doesn't matter at all whether the fifth one goes to number one or not. It's a brilliant choice for single. The One That Got Away for sixth please! :lol:

'The One That Got Away' would be Katy's last choice for a single, seeing as it wasn't even performed on tour! :P

So glad this is being released as a single ... I much prefer it to 'E.T.' and 'Firework'. It's so feel good, perfect for Summer too!
