May 11, 201114 yr i think Lady Gaga will have two songs in the top ten on Sunday. Edge of Glory is brilliant and its iTunes number one!

May 11, 201114 yr Have a feeling that Bruno Mars might snatch the number 1 by the end of the week! Pop bars so close on itunes...
May 11, 201114 yr I love the Edge of Glory so i'm hoping it has a top5 place (which could be likely) as it's no1 on iTunes (Something Judas didn't manage)
May 11, 201114 yr Gaga for Number 1! I know it's a tall order but it's not out of the question is it? I reckon it will be Top 3 for sure. Not sure how far ahead Guetta and Bruno are...
May 11, 201114 yr I think the top 10 on Sunday could go like: 1. Bruno Mars 2. David Guetta 3. Take That 4. LMFAO 5. Lady Gaga (TEOG) 6. Pitbull 7. Chris Brown 8. Snoop Dogg 9. Lady Gaga (Judas) 10. Jennifer Lopez Edited May 11, 201114 yr by Davidson
May 11, 201114 yr Author I think its going to be too close to call who is going to be #1 this week, DG, Bruno, Lady Gaga and depends if TT can make any ground after tonight, I don't think Friday's update will give us a clear picture, Lady Gaga has got potential with Radio 1 roadshow this weekend. When is she performing Saturday or Sunday? If its Sunday its too late to make any impact on this week's chart. And on Graham Norton (Friday). BTW the chart show on Sunday its between 6 and 7pm, the whole top 40 condensed in just under an hour, due to the Radio 1 roadshow.

She is on Radio 1's Big Weekend on the Sunday.. the line up for the main stage for both days is: Saturday: Foo Fighters Black Eyed Peas Tinie Tempah Plan B Nicole Scherzinger Chase & Status Ellie Goulding Jessie J Sunday: Lady Gaga My Chemical Romance Bruno Mars The Script Taio Cruz Katy B Professor Green Olly Murs The Wombats I am intrested to see who actually gets a boost from performing on it, I don't know how big a boost something like this gives an artist. At least if Gaga gets a boost on Sunday, it will keep her steadier for next week and hopefully the fall wont be TOO massive..
May 11, 201114 yr I actually think it will be very close and I can't call it atm - anyone of Guetta, Bruno, Take That (although they would need a very big lead at number1 on itunes) or Gaga could be number 1 either way, I'm glad- when was the last time we couldn't predict the number 1 :D
May 11, 201114 yr I have a feeling Gaga will get number 1 if she maintains number 1 on itunes until saturday night! Its kind of funny that she may have a potential number 1 with a promotional single, and not getting number 1 with either of her last 2 singles

I think Chase & Status will give their album a boost its currently in the top 10 along with Ellie just outside the top 10, depends what time they are on, mind you it could be too late to do anything. The following week will be interesting as Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga are performing on a Sunday should give their singles and Bruno's album a boost surely, not sure how well TT will do next week yet. At the moment its just taken off, most likely TT sales will trail off next week, I can't see them at #1 unless they are promoting elsewhere next week and the film is not out till June 3, again another good chart battle next week. I love it when the charts are active like this, it makes them less boring. I think next week it will be between Lady Gaga and Bruno
May 11, 201114 yr Really hoping Yasmin can stay top 10 but it's looking unlikely with new entries from GaGa, Take That etc. :(
May 11, 201114 yr I have a feeling Bruno could get to #1 this week without getting to #1 on iTunes just because of the rapid movement of other songs around the top (Guetta, GaGa and TT). I'd like GaGa to get #1 as it'd be funny if she can get there with The Edge Of Glory but not with Born This Way or Judas. I hope Judas can still go top 10 again but it's not looking good for it at the moment :( Good to finally have an unpredictable and exciting chart :D Assuming she does release another promo single next Monday it'd be cool if GaGa can somehow knock herself off #1. That hasn't happened since 2005, Dizzee Rascal almost did it last year. Edited May 11, 201114 yr by Bray
May 11, 201114 yr That Take That song is awful. Like seriously. I will never understand the mass hype surrounding them. Their best songs for me are the ones that aren't loved as much by the fans :(
May 11, 201114 yr Author I have a feeling Bruno could get to #1 this week without getting to #1 on iTunes just because of the rapid movement of other songs around the top (Guetta, GaGa and TT). I was just thinking that, as the top 5 does not give a clear picture yet, there is a lot happening in it, I'm expecting the top 5 to do a yo-yo at some stage, one minute its Lady Gaga at #1 and if you blink you might see Guetta there than Gaga gaining the top spot again ^_^ actually I wouldn't mind seeing that.
May 11, 201114 yr Now that The Edge of Glory has been playlisted on Radio 1, that's gonna give it an extra boost, I think she has a real chance of hitting #1. Still could go to Bruno, Guetta or (less likely) Take That though, I love how unpredictable and exciting the chart is this week :)
