Going to be? Already is.

Party Rock Anthem still holding strong at #3! This is going to end up being one of the years biggest selling singles no doubt.

Edge of Glory will be out of top 10 today then with Sats climbing.

I'm Into You  #14 :w00t: (OTF #12!)

RTW - BEY #24

S&M #40 (5 519200 Rihanna S&M)

YEAH! I don't give a stuff about The Saturdays (great song though) all I wanna know about is I'm Into You

Saturdays are doing very well, #11 already hopefully it can get top 5 officially. i really like the song :)

Has the Glee version of RITD not been released?

Also, is the Christina Perri original of JOH even out on UK iTunes yet?

The Sats still making good progress, I've only heard a short bit of the song but it sounded decent enough from that clip.

On a completely unrelate note, I only just noticed they've fixed the credit for 'Where Them Girls At'. :D

Yes. But I think these two songs will be the ones to make the biggest impact after the show. And, no the Christina Perri version isn't available yet. Which is why I think 'Jar of Hearts' will do better than the others this week as it'll be unfamiliar to the UK. I wouldn't be surprised to see it doing a 'Singing In the Rain'/'Umbrella' if I'm honest. (But I'm hoping more 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' but if their original song struggled to go top 30 I can't see this doing much)

Update:

199. Jar of Hearts (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

203. Friday (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

204. Rolling In the Deep (Glee Cast Version) [feat. Jonathan Groff] - Glee Cast

243. I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

387. Dancing Queen (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

554. Isn't She Lovely (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

Originals:

028. Rolling In the Deep - ADELE

222. Friday - Rebecca Black

822. Dancing Queen - Abba

846. Rolling In the Deep - ADELE

950. Jar Of Hearts - Christina Perri <---- So she's been added now! :o

Why so? Rolling In The Deep will definitely be the highest entry IMO. And Run Joey Run aside I don't think any of Glee's top 40 hits are songs which were unfamiliar to the UK so I'm not sure where that logic is coming from... I guess we'll see anyway, but I can't see the UK differing from the USA (where RITD was highest, then Friday, then JOH) :P Personally I'd sort of like to see INGTYBHTDWY back in the charts. Preferably the original though.

EDIT: I suppose 'Any Way You Want It' and 'Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'' aren't that familiar to the UK either but that was also a mash-up which is another factor in which song charts highest.

EDIT2: 'Jessie's Girl' as well. JG and RJR seem to be the exception rather than the rule though, it's normally more well known songs that perform better.

But there seems to be some sort of hype surrounding 'Jar of Hearts', yet it's still unfamiliar with the UK public. I dunno. I just think it'll do better than usual Glee songs. And the UK's Glee taste is quite different to the US'. It's hard to get across what I mean haha. (I'm rubbish with wording things) The RITD cover is vile. Jonathan Groff, REALLY ruins it (and I don't like the original!) the Adele version will get a bigger boost than the Glee version imo. I'll be expecting RITD to do a FY as JOH and Friday do slightly better. ('Friday' only because they seem to have changed the production slightly and made it more listenable, imo)

I've just realised none of this probably makes sense and it's probably me being in denial that the worst song of the episode (RITD) will actually do better than my two favourites! LOL. :(

Surely if Notorious  is at 11 already it actually will be a challange for number one consedering the pop bars!

Quality seems to not be a factor in what does the best. See also Loser Like Me / Get It Right :P

I suppose this is the Monster Ball show thing effect:

107. Bad Romance - Lady GaGa

117. Poker Face - Lady GaGa

118. Telephone - Lady GaGa & Beyoncé

135. Just Dance - Lady GaGa & Colby O'Donis

196. Paparazzi - Lady GaGa

Poker Face has never re-entered the top 100 since its initial 83-week run (it's the only TF[M] single to have one single unbroken run and no re-entries), maybe it could do next week? Probably not.

I do agree, but like 'Where dem Girls At?', it'll fall halfway during the week....

Same as FOI and MY too - both died on their asses come on the end of the week

Be interesting to see if it does fall or continues to climb,

At this stage both FIO is MY were A listed on Radio one and had over 300 radio plays(Comparemyradio) Notorious has had just 37 plays and only 1 play on Radio 1.....

I reckon it may not fall as fast as FIO and MY...although I can see it stalling at #6 or so, unfortunately :(

Why is everyone saying the Sats are going to fall?

The difference between their song and WDGA is that the Sats have released the video to coincide with the single's release and will only start getting considerable video/radio airplay this week since the video was only released on Thursday/Friday.

It should do the complete opposite of MY i.e. climbing slowly and falling slowly instead of climbing fast and falling fast.

Anyone know how far The Sats are away from 10?

Just look yourself, it takes one click of the livepopbars link in the first post.

Anyone think any Gaga songs from the album release tomorrow will trouble the top 40 officially? There bound to be a couple to go at least top 40 on iTunes, but to go top 40 officially they probably have to go top 20 (i.e. Telephone). Anyone think any of them could do this, and which ones do you think could? I think Government Hooker could, and mabye Schiesse?

Yoü And I, Marry The Night and Government Hooker (and maybe Scheiße just for its title) could all do it. I think most of them will go top 100 at least.

Also Americano could too, but I think 'You & I' will be the only one that officially makes the top 40.
