I found the new Mann song on youtube. It seems Iyaz sings the hook aswell! :o Wow. Iyaz might be back in the chart soon!

It was the annoying sample that put me off 'Buzzin', do you know the name of this song? Or even what it samples?

Yeah, see above! It samples a song that literally everybody on the planet knows (think The Time). I think a lot of people won't like it though, because of that. :(

'The Mack'? I prefer this to 'Buzzin' already! Don't recognise the sample though  (Which I'm pretty sure everyone else will know!)

You don't recognize the sample?! :o Sorry. :( It is extremely well-known though. I think it came out int he 90's, but it's one of those songs most kids born even 5 years ago will know really well.

It's this:

No, Imma Be missed the top 40 entirely when it was released, so that can't be true. People need to hear and like their songs to buy them, just like with all other artists.

I think Don't Stop the Party is going to miss the top 10 anyway. It's not as good as their previous 2 singles from the album imo, although it's still decent. I've only heard it twice on the radio though, and both times it was a live version.

I just heard Mann's new single on the radio!?! :o So it should be on iTunes soon? Snoop Dogg is on the song, and it samples a very, very well-known song. :kink:

I actually quite liked 'Imma Be' for some reason. :/ 'Don't Stop The Party' is just endless noise.

Never heard it before  And I was born 14 years ago!

Gosh, so you were even alive when it came out. You have no excuse!!!

Well, I guess if it gets popular, then everyone will certainly know it. I hear it all the time on the radio though. It's probably just Heart FM. They seem to have a list of like 3 songs from each year, and then play them repeatedly. Which is a shame, becaue there's bound to be so many other good songs from those years they're not playing anymore. :( Their songs from 2010 I predict will be Forget You, Just the Way You Are and Empire State of Mind. The songs from 2009 which they seem to be having on repeat are I Gotta Feeling, Fight For This Love and Broken Strings. It's such a shame though, because they're going to be calling these songs "classics" in a few years time, when they're really not the best from their years, at all tbh. :(

I liked Imma Be too. I wish it did better here. :(

I can see what you mean by it being "endless". The song does drag on so much. I think they could prevent that a lot with the radio edit, and actually make it quite a fast-moving song, but Radio 1 still only seem to be playing the live version of it, so I haven't heard the proper radio edit yet. Knowing our luck though, the radio edit will probably just be the first half of the song or something. :drama:

Lost the plot?! There is no "plot". They just releasing songs, and if people like it, they buy it.

Of course it's not going to be as good as Just Can't Get Enough, but let's face it, nothing is.

I don't like any of the songs they have released from "The Beginning" imo they are all just noise.

Agreed. Nothing will ever match the epicness of their earlier stuff such as 'Where Is The Love', 'Shut Up' + 'Don't Phunk With My Heart' IMO.

Yeah, those are amazing!!! Especially Don't Phunk With My Heart. Just wow. And Where is the Love? always makes me cry.

I think the best song they've ever done is Meet Me Halfway (which I'm listening to right now! :D). Absolutely gorgeous.

Mann has one of many releases to choose from: The collaboration with Jason Derulo, the collaboration with Sean Kingston and the collaboration with Iyaz - the former may be a suitable choice considering he's making a return to the charts; although the video and song are both just dire and repetitive - should be a big hit!

 David Guetta 'Where Them Girls At' #9

^ That's a real shame, not as bad as 'Judas' chart run, so hopefully it'll still sell well before we see the release of the video; Taio Cruz posted on Twitter that the video for 'Little Bad Girl' is finished - so surely the lead single's video should be ready soon too!

Great to see 'Hair' tumble down the charts, it doesn't deserve to get top 10 tomorrow - it's only a promotional single.

I randomly stumbled across The Mack yesterday on YT, it is better than Buzzin' imo (which I did like but didn't do for ages until it grew) - I was hoping it was a new single and not a random leaked track  I recognise the sample, it's nowhere near as well known as (I've Had) The Time Of My Life though...
'Don't Stop The Party' is quite good, but it is a grower. And the radio edit is much better that the 6 minute version. :D

The album version felt like it went on for about 10 minutes when I listened to it, I quite like the radio edit though so it's saved. Imo:

The Time (8/10) >> DSTP (7.5/10 > JCGE (7/10)

For me:

The Time - 9/10

Just Can't Get Enough - 9/10

Don't Stop the Party - 7/10

Good to see Beyonce climbing!! :D

Rihanna - Man Down  to #165. :o

I swear it's always been in the top 200? I've been hearing it regularly on the radio for months.

 6. Sweat (Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta) [Remix] - Snoop Dogg & David Guetta

Wait, when did this get so high again? :o Hopefully it still has a few more weeks in the top 10 left in it then :D

SHM are down to #8 :( I'm sure they'll climb again after the weekend though.
