May 22, 201115 yr I dont think Gaga will have 4 in the top 15 as BTW is surely coming up very soon, but 4 top 20 :cheer:
May 22, 201115 yr I think this should get over 400,000 sales at least, which is incredibly impressive for a 4th single from a massive selling album. I can't see Last Friday Night doing anything like that though, mabye 200,000 and just scrape the top 10? DEV
May 22, 201115 yr Disappointed at the chart run for this to be honest... it's still good but given that A) it's been absolutely MASSIVE in the USA and B) it's easily her best song ever I hoped for better. Great for a fourth single though I guess. I'm still so shocked at how it's done in the US. I mean, it's a good song, but HOW has it been that big? It's chart run there is like Someone Like You's! :o I can't understand how a 4th single can do that well. Bass Down Low.

May 22, 201115 yr Kanye West *snip* I know he's not credited on Polyhex (or indeed the single cover, so I don't expect you to add it to his chart history :P) but Kanye was also featured on another (different) song called 'Number One', by John Legend. Discovered this the other day. --- Bass Down Low
May 22, 201115 yr E.T is the biggest selling song in America this year. :o Bass Down Low!!!!!! <3 Edited May 22, 201115 yr by shadow2009
May 22, 201115 yr I really like this now, whats wrong with me? :( I really love the bassline on the chorus especially, it sounds all edgy and tense :kink:
May 22, 201115 yr I'm still so shocked at how it's done in the US. I mean, it's a good song, but HOW has it been that big? It's chart run there is like Someone Like You's! :o I can't understand how a 4th single can do that well. Because the charts in the USA are mainly based on airplay

May 22, 201115 yr E.T is the biggest selling song in America this year. :o I know!! :o Just HOW? Good for her I suppose. At one point the single and album version were at #2 and #3!!! :o How could it be so big. Again, reminds me of when Someone Like You was massive and it had the live and album versions both near the top of iTunes! http://i731.photobucket.com/albums/ww316/janieiscool1/ET.png Because the charts in the USA are mainly based on airplay No. She's also the best-selling song of the year in sales too. I'm glad we don't include airplay in the UK charts though. Someone Like You would still be in the top 10. :drama: And Bass Down Low probably wouldn't be in the top 40. :( Edited May 22, 201115 yr by Eric_Blob

May 22, 201115 yr Because the charts in the USA are mainly based on airplay Katy would have been #1 even if it was just sales, though. She sold 300k in a week four times.
May 22, 201115 yr 14th week in the top 20 for this and it's still #19 on iTunes :D Will be over 900k now, 1 million only a few more weeks away. :w00t:
May 22, 201115 yr wow, people are still buying Hugh Laurie? Friendly Fires slipped out of the top 5 :( hopefully last week top 20 for this, it's starting to tire on me Edited May 22, 201115 yr by chart wizard
May 22, 201115 yr Adele's last week at #1 for a short while then? Its GaGa's turn next week. I hope so. :cheer:
