07 Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (this will have good first week sales thanks to their fanbase)

43 Enrique Iglesias with Usher feat. Lil Wayne - Dirty Dancer (Enrique doesn't have a big fanbase)

01 Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me (probably a number one hit for him)

15 Katy B - Easy Please Me (it's doing well already, I think it could get T20)

68 Kylie Minogue - Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) (it screams flop)

14 Nicola Roberts - Beat Of My Drum (it's gonna do better than flopstar Nadine)

June 12

33 Alexis Jordan - Hush Hush (it's flopping already)

04 Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce (would like this at number one, but is unlikely)

19 Ed Sheeran - The A Team (CDS/7") (this has been getting some good pre-orders - it could be a minor hit)

06 Rihanna - California King Bed (I think it's already peaked)

07 The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party (it's good but the peas do worse with every single)

09 Tinchy Stryder & Dappy - Spaceship (it screams 'frontloaded' top ten hit)

42 True Tiger feat. Professor Green & Maverick Sabre - In The Air (Pro Green's name could be enough to get it somewhere)

June 19

52 Cascada - San Francisco (could go any way, but I predict flop)

05 Jason Derülo - Don’t Wanna Go Home (it won't be as big as his other hits - as its not that good)

xx Owl City – Alligator Sky (no one buys into Owl City anymore)

23 Parade - Perfume (their first single flopped hard, so I predict a GCC style exit for them)

53 Vato Gonzalez feat. Foreign Beggars - Badman Riddim (Jump) (it's got ok pre-orders - it could get T50)

June 26

xx Avril Lavigne - Smile (FLOP)

35 Martin Solveig feat. Kele - Ready 2 Go (this won't have 'Hello' sucess imo)

July 3

46 Cee-Lo Green - I Want You (i don't think he can get another hit out of this era)

73 Chipmunk feat. Trey Songz - Take Off (trey isn't a big name here, so it screams flop)

01 DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder (it's got amazing pre orders and is on an advert. it screams number one)

08 Nicki Minaj - Super Bass (it could be T10 in the next few weeks)

July 10

07 LMFAO feat. Natalia Kills - Champagne Showers (this could do well off the back of PRA)

18 Scouting For Girls - Love How It Hurts (they'll be frontloaded)

03 The Wanted - Glad You Came (hopefully not number one)

July 17

14 Chase & Status feat. Tinie Tempah - Hitz (I think it'll miss T10 but have good longevity)

53 Far East Movement feat. Snoop Dogg - If I Was You (Snoop could get the FEM another hit, but probably not)

42 Nightcrawlers feat. Taio Cruz - Cryin' Over You (it's got Taio on it, so it could go either way [more on the flop side right now])

July 24

01 JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna (unfortunately JLS' fanbase will get this to no1.)

12 Nero - Promises (it's not as good as 'Guilt', so it probably won't do as well)

Enrique Iglesias with Usher feat. Lil Wayne - Dirty Dancer - Top 40

Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me - #1 (or #2)

Katy B - Easy Please Me - Top 30

Nicola Roberts - Beat Of My Drum - Top 30

The Kixx - Already Gone - Top 40? 75?

June 12

Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce - Top 3

Ed Sheeran - The A Team (CDS/7") - Top 5/10 (there should be a lot of hype for this guy)

The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party - Top 15/20

Tinchy Stryder & Dappy - Spaceship - Top 3 (should do better than the last lead single)

True Tiger feat. Professor Green & Maverick Sabre - In The Air - Top 40, like Chipmunk's of the same name. :heehee:

June 19

A bonus: LMFAO ft. Natalia Kills - Champagne Showers - Top 5

Edited by FM11

Ok, lets try and guess..

June 5

05 Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Might well get to the top 5)

15 Enrique Iglesias with Usher feat. Lil Wayne - Dirty Dancer (Enrique has never missed the top 20, and having Usher will help the track. Besides, he's never been a great album seller, and Tonight did very well)

01 Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me (I'd agree. Pitbull's waning, and Example's probably going to get it)

21 Katy B - Easy Please Me (I don't think it'll get top 20. The album sold well, and Broken Record only just managed top 10)

xx Kylie Minogue - Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) (I don't think it'll even chart)

09 Nicola Roberts - Beat Of My Drum (Maybe a medium-sized hit)

June 12

01 Alexis Jordan - Hush Hush (In my dreams. Seriously, I think it may get top 20 eventually)

02 Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce (Probably give Example a second week, or Alexandra may climb)

14 Ed Sheeran - The A Team (It has been getting good support from Radio 1, but it'll be very frontloaded)

06 Rihanna - California King Bed (Unfortunately, I think you're right. The first Rihanna song with only 1 week top 10 :o)

11 The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party (I think it may struggle for top 10)

07 Tinchy Stryder & Dappy - Spaceship (Will probably get a good first week, then, it depends)

34 True Tiger feat. Professor Green & Maverick Sabre - In The Air (Oh, I don't know, I think it might scrape top 40)

June 19

27 Cascada - San Francisco (Could certainly flop, but I think a hit more along the size of Arctic Monkeys this year for Cascada. Their last lead single did go to #1)

02 Jason Derülo - Don’t Wanna Go Home (Haven't heard it, but it'll probably go top 5, it's off a new album)

xx Owl City – Alligator Sky (True, true. :( I think the album'll go top 40 though. Hopefully.)

39 Parade - Perfume (will barely make the top 40)

xx Vato Gonzalez feat. Foreign Beggars - Badman Riddim (Jump) (No idea, so I'll predict flop)

June 26

xx Avril Lavigne - Smile (Uh huh. I love the song, but if a BGT performance couldn't shift it, nothing will.)

24 Martin Solveig feat. Kele - Ready 2 Go (Not as big as Hello, certainly, but an average hit)

July 3

46 Cee-Lo Green - I Want You (Agreed, really. Radio'll lap it up, though)

54 Chipmunk feat. Trey Songz - Take Off (Averaging peaks of Bottoms Up and In The Air, we get:)

03 DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder (Could be #1. Don't really know, so I'll put )

10 Nicki Minaj - Super Bass (The way it's going, probably T10. Will probably only just make it, though)

July 10

26 LMFAO feat. Natalia Kills - Champagne Showers (LMFAO look a bit one-hit wonderish to me)

32 Scouting For Girls - Love How It Hurts (They're returning? Ok...)

10 The Wanted - Glad You Came (The Wanted are fast waning. They'll have minor success with this album, and that'll be it for them)

July 17

19 Chase & Status feat. Tinie Tempah - Hitz (Tinie's name will help it outpeak Time. Still, I can see it having a similar run to Let You Go)

26 Far East Movement feat. Snoop Dogg - If I Was You (Rocketeer barely did well anyway, but Snoop's name, plus few albums sold will help it. Plus, it's the best track left off of Free Wired)

xx Nightcrawlers feat. Taio Cruz - Cryin' Over You (I'll call flop)

July 24

01 JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna (Quite probably a #1)

18 Nero - Promises (Is this before or after the album. Probably top 20 in any case)

Sadly (for me) Coldplay won't be top 5, top 10 if they are lucky. VLV got to #1 on just over 20k sales, so maybe top 15.

June 5

05 Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (this will have good first week sales thanks to their fanbase)

35 Enrique Iglesias with Usher feat. Lil Wayne - Dirty Dancer (don't know a lot about it and there doesn't seem to be any hype)

01 Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me (going to predict a number 1 for this, although I wouldn't be surprised with number 2 either (although I would be gutted :( ))

16 Katy B - Easy Please Me (it's doing well already, I think it could get T20)

66 Kylie Minogue - Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) (blatant flop)

14 Nicola Roberts - Beat Of My Drum (probably followed by a huge plummet)

June 12

25 Alexis Jordan - Hush Hush (not doing greatly atm and no radio support)

03 Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce (with a Ready for the Weekend style success)

07 Ed Sheeran - The A Team (this has been getting some good pre-orders, I think it will be a surprise big hit )

06 Rihanna - California King Bed (already peaked)

04 The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party (doesn't deserve to do well at all, but I think this will be big once video and airplay kick in, utter mess of a song :( )

06 Tinchy Stryder & Dappy - Spaceship (I think top 10, although nowhere near as big as number 1)

12 True Tiger feat. Professor Green & Maverick Sabre - In The Air (I think this will do well, its getting some pre-orders-top 20 most likely, the video for this is brilliant :D )

June 19

13 Cascada - San Francisco (hard to predict, I think top 20 although top 10 wouldn't surprise me)

03 Jason Derülo - Don’t Wanna Go Home (hopefully lower though, its awful)

xx Owl City – Alligator Sky (no one buys into Owl City anymore)

12 Parade - Perfume (I think this could do quite well actually, at least initially)

05 Vato Gonzalez feat. Foreign Beggars - Badman Riddim (Jump) (this will be pretty big I think, its top 100 on pre-orders alone and getting great radio support, I think top 10 )

June 26

xx Avril Lavigne - Smile (FLOP)

35 Martin Solveig feat. Kele - Ready 2 Go (this won't have 'Hello' sucess imo)

July 3

46 Cee-Lo Green - I Want You (this era has lost steam)

56 Chipmunk feat. Trey Songz - Take Off (can't see this doing much)

01 DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder (I think number 1 for this, its pre-orders are brilliant and its support will just build and build)

08 Nicki Minaj - Super Bass (it could be T10 in the next few weeks)

July 10

07 LMFAO feat. Natalia Kills - Champagne Showers (this could do well off the back of PRA)

12 Scouting For Girls - Love How It Hurts (could do well initially, TAALS defied expectations totally)

03 The Wanted - Glad You Came (will be very front-loaded)

July 17

18 Chase & Status feat. Tinie Tempah - Hitz (if Time couldn't get top 20, I can't see this doing much)

?? Far East Movement feat. Snoop Dogg - If I Was You (too early)

?? Nightcrawlers feat. Taio Cruz - Cryin' Over You (too early)

July 24

01 JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna ( :( that said number 2 wouldn't surprise me either)

21 Nero - Promises (based on their other singles doing well, not sure atm)

pasted, with edited comments on my opinion :P

jls need to stop punishing our ears and getting to number 1 by default...their fanbase will buy any old trash they release and its not good for british music at all

coldplay wont go top but should debut top 5 with a bit of luck

With the new OAOS policy causing songs to be released well before their videos, I hardly even get to hear new songs before they first chart!

I only ever listen to the radio for the chart show, and used to rely on the Sky music channels to hear new songs before they were released.

Basically, it means I'm trapped into predicting on name alone, a lot of the time.

Sadly (for me) Coldplay won't be top 5, top 10 if they are lucky. VLV got to #1 on just over 20k sales, so maybe top 15.

Was that not because it had sold far, far more in the previous weeks but wasn't chart eligible? It was very lucky to go #1 when they finally let it chart but it would have been a very clear #1 if it had been allowed in earlier.

Anyways, just focusing on June:

5 June

6 Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (I think it may go as high as 2 or 3 on iTunes but I'm fully expecting this to plummet never to return after one week :( I hope I'm proven wrong but this doesn't really feel like a big hit)

54 Enrique Iglesias and Usher feat. Lil Wayne - Dirty Dancer (can't see this doing much at all. Could become his new lowest peaking release :kink: His previous low was #45 for 'Rhythm Divine', all his other chart entries were top 20)

1 Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me (not 100% certain but I think he stands a very good chance. Probably would be the new best #1 of the year if it does get there as I've tired slightly of What's My Name?)

16 Nicola Roberts - Beat Of My Drum (I've gone tactical here - I predicted #29 initially for this but it's gone pretty much straight into the top 30 on iTunes, which reminds me of when I predicted Blue to get #27 and they entered straight in the top 30...)

12 June

33 Above & Beyond - Thing Called Love (not included in the first post but I've added this one in myself as I think it could just go top 40)

66 Alexis Jordan - Hush Hush (I'm sure this has already peaked)

3 Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce (this would be a fantastic #1, not to mention the fact it'd be a long overdue first #1 for Kelis. It's not quite as good as I'm Not Alone but then again that's very hard to top)

18 Ed Sheeran - The A Team (I just get the feeling of 'low top 20 hit with decent chart run' from this, but it could just as easily flop entirely. He went as high as around 75 on iTunes with another random song of his about a week ago so I think this could do well)

7 Rihanna - California King Bed (I believe this will peak this week, it's been #6 on all the mids but I think it'll drop down to 7 with the late fall on iTunes)

11 The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party (I think this is another 'Rock That Body' situation, can't see it going top 10. All the BEP top 100 entries since WITL? have either gone top 9 or had a 'repdigit' (11, 55, 88) as their peak so maybe this will continue that :P)

8 Tinchy Stryder and Dappy - Spaceship (I think this will do marginally better than In My System but not that much. Tinchy's career seems to be pretty much dead :()

36 True Tiger feat. Professor Green and Maverick Sabre - In The Air (I want this to do better than low top 40 as it's brilliant but realistically can't see it going any higher than this :()

19 June

60 Cascada - San Francisco (Pyromania part 2 AFAIC. I can't really see them ever getting another big hit to be honest, or maybe I'm just mixing my expectations with my hopes there...)

28 Hard-Fi - Good For Nothing (I sense a sort of Courteeners-style success for this era for them)

3 Jason Derülo - Don't Wanna Go Home (not sure about this)

33 Lethal Bizzle - Mind Spinning (added this one in myself too :P If POW 2011 could go to #33 I don't see why a new song by him can't do similar)

12 Vato Gonzalez feat. Foreign Beggars - Badman Riddim (Jump) (I hate what Foreign Beggars have done to this :( But I hope this does well just for the original version)

26 June

5 DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder (regardless of its pre-orders I just cannot see this at #1 - Rumer also got massive pre-orders and she only got to #16. Don't think Louder will do that badly though)

10 Martin Solveig feat. Kele - Ready 2 Go (I think this'll just go top 10 just off the back of Hello, but won't touch the longevity or sales of Hello)

33 Lethal Bizzle - Mind Spinning (added this one in myself too :P If POW 2011 could go to #33 I don't see why a new song by him can't do similar)

Pow 2011 got to 33 for a few reasons

1 - It had been released before (in 2004) and peaked T20 (and the 2011 was a completely new version)

2 - It featured lots of artists including Wiley and Chipmunk

So something tells me he'll flop.

I reckon Badman Riddim and The A Team will do a lot better than most people are predicting, not sure how well though...mid top ten for the former and low top ten for the latter perhaps...
I think Badman Riddim would do better if they put out the original instead of the $h!te Foreign Beggars version.
if beyonces new album is released on the 27th june an album track on that could be massive ala 'love the way you lie'.thats the great thing about the charts in this era...we dont know the hits until we HEAR them and they rise to the top due to the song....even massive promo has to be sustained over a 2 week period for it to rise enough on itunes(with the exception of he final 3 months of the year due to the xfactor!!

Nightcrawlers?! Is this the same act who had a couple of hits in the mid-1990s (most notably Push The Feeling On)? :o That would be such a huge gap between chart appearances, especially for a dance act!!

Quite - Pow! is one of the most famous songs the grime scene has produced. Can hardly be compared to a random new song by Lethal Bizzle, as from a commercial standpoint he's irrelevant outside of that song. It's a bit like Fragma and Toca's Miracle, for example, when they released a new version of it in 2008, yet no one cares about any new material or remixes of their other hits (even though two others were also top 5 )
